Cruelty Squad is apparently an immersive sim, but it's a lot closer to the Hitman games. You will always have to eliminate your target before finding the exit to the level. The only difference is how fast you can do it and how many additional enemies you eliminate along the way. However in Hitman you can eliminate your targets in very different and unique ways, but in Cruelty Squad you will always kill them pretty much the same way. Shooting them in the face.

And that's pretty much the whole game, you pick your weapons and augments at the start of the level, kill the targets, and leave. Do this for about 4-5 hours, depending on how quick you want to be, and that's about it. While there are other aspects of the game that are definitely interesting (such as the graphics and the stock market), it's about as deep as a puddle.

If you go into it expecting a Hitman-type game and not an immersive sim, you might not be disappointed as I was.
