I pre-ordered the physical collector's edition of this game and as someone who has been a believer in this game from day one, let me tell you about it. This game is incredible. One of the most beautiful and relaxing games I've ever played. There is such an emptiness to space that feels almost terrifying, yet comforting. The hum of the engines, the glow of the dash, the sparkle of the stars, the soft rumble of the ship. It all comes together to paint a beautiful picture of serenity. There is so much excitement when landing on a new planet. Will I find the resources I need to fuel the ship? Will I get some new tech? Will I learn more about an ancient civilization? Or will pirates come out of the sky and attack me? There is never a dull moment.

The stars are bright, but not as bright as the future was for this game. I still believe this game was not bad on release. It wasn't the best and it wasn't what was promised but I think, now, it far surpasses anyone's original expectations. Though I have to give respect to the amazing creators of this game. They made this their vision and more, they never let the community down. In a world with so much corporate greed and hatred, I thank you Hello Games and hope you have heard our collective apologies for our initial judgement. If only we could all be like No Man's Sky and become better versions of ourselves.
