Better than what Overwatch currently is, but not better than what Overwatch was. Janky, unbalanced, and coasting off a known IP and oversaturated ideas. Maps are unmemorable and the silhouettes of enemy characters and their hitboxes are horrid and poorly displayed visibility-wise. Game is a total mess.

Balatro is an innovator, a clear triumph in its genre. Almost deceptively pretending as though it is no more than a simple card game, it will sink its teeth into you before long. Getting that perfect run, allowing you to destroy the game, making your own rules and rising to Ante 11+ is an immensely satisfying feeling. Balatro will have you saying "Just one more" till it's 4AM. The gameplay is a clear winner; the art, sound effects, and feel of the game are no slouch though. For the price that's offered here, there's absolutely no reason to not pick up this GOTY nominee.

As someone who had immense doubts for years, only coming around to the idea of this remake living up to the monstrous expectations it had recently, with the release of the story trailer in August, I'm inclined to leave a positive review simply stating: buy it, it is amazing.

This game will probably be really overlooked, so far, really great, nice sense of style, great atmosphere, unnerving music and tension, wonderfully creepy.

Good game, scummy business practices. No excuse for the "muh bills to pay"

GTA V has a fun and "immersive" Singleplayer that's long, funny, big, has some thoughtful messages, and is 100% worth it, but Multiplayer? Absolutely not. GTA V Online is probably some of the most boring online i've ever played after the first couple days. On top of that Rockstar has really milked this online, "But how? All the DLC is free and you can earn money." And you're right it is free and you can earn the money, however this takes days upon weeks to get a ton of cars, nice apartment(s), etc. It's simply not fun after a couple times of logging in. "But Jeremy, you have 340 hours?" I do, because messing around with friends can make the game pretty fun, but when that's the only way to make a online game fun, even that will get boring after a bit.

To add icing on top of the cake, Take-two will most likely remove modding as a whole with a cease and desist. This is a big ♥♥♥♥ you to all the people who love the modding community on GTA V Online and rp. ♥♥♥♥ you Take-two, ♥♥♥♥ you Rockstar, I don't want to buy your overpriced shark cards.
