Arguably the best modernization of both Hexen and Heretic. You take the role of ¨The Champion¨ on his way to put an end to evil. Despite such a plain and simple plot, the game develops an amazing campaign, every chapter is completely different to each other, from wizards to machines, you'll fight them all. The quality and creativity put into the level design is gorgeous, every chapter feels thanks to it like a whole different planet, suddenly going from a ocean to hell, and the same goes for the soundtrack, starts a bit weak in my opinion, however, as soon as I got into the 5th chapter, both soundtrack and map gave me that ¨Man¨ feeling. Gameplay's fire too, you have around 7 different weapons, and the game constantly tries to make you use them all in different situations and against different enemies. The Map's design is essentially just puzzles and arenas (some puzzles at the late game are confusing as hell though), which is overall fine, considering how is the player supposed to fight.

Objectively it's outstanding, great visuals, great soundtrack, and more, but it's probably not made for everyone, since it tries to keep that old school game design from the 90's. Subjectively it's THE reincarnation of both Hexen and Heretic into the modern era.
