Multiple years after this DLC has released and they still haven't fixed the cannon accuracy issues.
This is a game with Fire-And-Forget ATGMS, Radar tracking guns, and Cannons that have worse accuracy than a WW1 howitzer. Genuinely, trying to hit a tank sized target at anything further that 300m is pure luck.

A game that punished new players.

Many key mechanics of the game are locked behind an extensive grind that makes it so new players are at a severe and noticeable disadvantage. Made all the more problematic when the "Meta" way to grind the game involves just building bases away from combat and not actually participating or PLAYING the game. It honestly feels like the game doesn't want you to play.

As a new player, you are just cannon fodder for those that have access to the games actual mechanics.

There is also MORE mechanics locked behind clans and squads, so as a solo player you are working with a handicap as well.

Also, add in the fact that there are lootboxes and pay to win items.

Unless you plan on playing this game for 10+ years to actual unlock the game,
I cannot recommend...

In comparison to every other social VR game I have played, this was the worst.

Lag and fps was an issue.
The game crashed multiple times, once even requiring a full PC restart.
There doesn't seem to be any key rebindings.
Using tools disables locomotion.
Ran into multiple bugs that made the laserpointer unusable.
Avatar edits would persist even when not saved.
Etc...
Etc...

A downright frustrating experience...

It's a great game to goof around in. Making realistic, sifi, or just weird builds in.

It's also great to see active development and updates rolling in.

An awful grind with zero respect for it's players time or money. Events that are more work than an actual job, constant harassment over buying premium, and add to it that the game stole $20 from me without getting what I payed for.

Don't fall into this sink...

VRC is planning to implement Easy anti cheat to ban Harmless mods meant to improve the game. Betraying their community, and restricting the game for thousands. Ths doesn't just affect quality of life mods, but mods for accessibility of disabled players, crash protection, personal safety issues, etc.

Servers never work. Controls are clunky, making everything a pain to do especially with mouse and keyboard. I've played one-man indie games that were more fun than this garbage....

Add a "shoot you on sight" type of community and its downright unplayable.

It's got it's bugs and issues, but its one of the best building games I've played...
I've made Battle ready Tanks, Flight computers, CNC Laser cutters, realistic engines, etc...
If you can imagine it (and have a Beefy PC), you can build just about anything...

Great team focused gameplay. Shooting feels nice, the community is great, and there is so much to do and learn....

I played the demo on Itch.io before the game was released and I fell in love. I played the whole game on V1, and couldn't put it down. The art, story, characters, and music are wonderful. Even after finishing the main story, there is so much to do...
