Matchmaking is Broken. Devs sold out to Tencent/EPiC so they are in charge now. Rocket Car FortSUCK is coming, maybe there will be a Rocket Car Battle Royal coming with 20$ cars that you cant trade for.

im currently c1-c2 in ranking, they are removing crates, their servers are awful with constant rubber banding and high latency on fiber connections, game play is fun when the matches are accurate to the rank, however being 1290mmr and getting paired in a d3 match (everyone 1170-1190) just screams that their matchmaking system is broken a high c1 or c2 should never get in a match that low. then there are the smurf problems. there are so many c3+ smurfs in the game from mid d3-c2 that its insane. join match and look at the mmr, one opponent is c2(1340 for expample) his partiner is 754mmr, they both going for celing shots and fast areal passplays that even some low GC players would miss. almost every time the lower mmr player is doing the most and is always a toxic slimeball. i dont know any gold level players that can consistantly hit celing shots let along areal properly. the best part is nothing happens when these people get reported, losing to these smurfs means 18+ mmr loss to the losing team. and thats like 8-9 games depending on how many matches you have played in the season. thats just the smurfing issue, there are other issues like bad networking and shoddy connections, heavy car bug, random freezes/ crashes in ranked matches, then trying to rejoin and being banned for something that you have no control over. the gameplay is fun, solo queue is cancer because most teammates you get are either smurfs or totally braindead, if you are thinking of picking this 5 year old game up. hold off until jan/ feb 2020 and see what people are saying on the steam forums about it, because theres no review system or forum system for EPIC/TENCENT's spyware infested launcher.

im not mad, just disappointed that the game after 5 years hasnt gotten much better, but we the player allowed this to happen.


also, this is an honest review from my pov at this point in time. steam blocking negative reviews of a game because a developer decides to do something their community doesnt agree with is actually pathetic, take what people are saying with a grain of salt and make decisions that the majority can agree with or get to see what people have to say about your game in the mass of bad reviews. suppressing the opinions of the masses is against free speech and expression and should be illegal. but then again, psyonix sold out to china, who if im correct are communist and there isnt free speech or expression because those things are illegal under their regime. STAY WOKE, STAY INFORMED.
