A Noob's VR Guide - What to buy?
I. What VR to buy? Oculus/Meta Quest 2/3
Meta Quest 2/3 is the poster image of VR, why? Because it's a jack of all trades with an excellent price-quality ratio. Some VR headsets are better connected to a PC aka PCVR, other VR headsets are better standalone, but Meta Quest 2/3 is the only one who can do both PC gaming and standalone gaming well.

II. Should you get VR games on Meta or Steam?
With jack of all trades like Meta Quest 2/3 you usually have a choice: do you want to buy the game on Steam or on Meta? If you buy them on Meta they usually have worse graphics but all you need to play them is the VR headset itself. If you buy them on Steam they usually have better graphics but you need to connect your headset through Steam using a long USB-C cable or Air Wireless. It depends on what your want, more comfort or better grahpics?

III. What games should you get on VR first?
1. First Steps (preinstalled on meta) -> Will teach your the basics of VR in a fun way. It takes about 20 minutes. It has a shooter mini-game and a dance mini-game after the main tutorial, nothing wow, but it teaches you the basics.
2. Population One: Free to Play -> The PUBG of VR and is free to play. You know how PUBG is played? with 100 players on a map and the winner is the last surviving team or player? Population One is exactly that except in VR, you will have to aim the gun yourself. It also has a tutorial to teach you more about shooters in VR.
3. Resident Evil 4 VR -> This one you need to buy, but most Meta Quest 2/3 come with this game for free. Like when you buy a PC graphics card and get a game for free because of it. With Resident Evil 4 already a classic, only good things could come from this game being made into VR. It's your basic singleplayer shooter adventure game.
4. Echo VR -> Free to play. Youtube "Enders Game - Battle Room", this game is literally that. You are in a 0 gravity environment and play a sort of football game. Be careful, it gets far more disorienting than other VR games, because you have no concept of up and down here.
5. Battle Talent/Blade and Sorcery/Hellsplit Arena/Hellish Quart -> The "swords fight" games. Battle Talent is free to play. Blade and Sorcery is the most moddable game, you can literally play Star Wars with jedi and force powers in this with the Outer Rim mod. While Hellsplit Arena is not the most moddable but has the best graphics out of all 3. While Hellish Quart is focused on dueling.
6. Epic Roller Coaster -> Free to play. Yes, you can Google rollectoaster 360* in Youtube VR, but it's not the same thing, trust me. The experience is far deeper here.
7. Contractors VR -> The Counter-Strike of VR. Has both Steam & Meta versions.
8. Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond / Sniper Elite VR / Warhammer 40:000 Sisters of Battle -> The Call of Duty of VR. Has both Steam & Meta versions. While Sniper Elite VR is a good alternative. While Warhammer 40:000 Sisters of Battle is a futuristic Si-Fi alternative with laser guns, melee weapons and such.
9. After the Fall -> The Left 4 Dead of VR. Has both Steam & Meta versions.
10. Chat VR/Rec Room/Big Screen -> Top 3 most popular chat apps. You can do anything in these games. Talk with people, play mini-games, and so on.
11. Workout VR -> Free but limited content free. You can literally use the VR to work out.
12. PokerStars VR -> Free. It's not just poker, you are in a full casino with other players. One player asked me for money because he lost it all on roulette. 10/10 for realism.
13. Youtube VR -> Free. Just Youtube but in VR.
14. Mission ISS -> Free. A game made by NASA. You explore a real-life space station. It has 0 gravity just like Echo VR but there is no competition here.
15. Box: Creed: Rise to Glory / Thrill of the Fight -> Want to try boxing? You have 2 great options. Creed Rise to Glory is more flashy/arcade but Thrill of the Fight is more realistic. Professional Boxers used Thrill of the Fight to train.
16. The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners -> This game is amazing. While After the Fall is also a zomibie game a lot like Left 4 Dead. This one is not like Left 4 Dead.
17. Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick -> A short but very fun game about Rick & Morty.
18. Superhot VR -> A shooter game with a great concept, time only moves when you move, bullets included, so you can stop and think all your actions, or act like Neo from Matrix.
19. Hitman: HITMAN World of Assassination / Skyrim VR / Fallout 4 -> Hitman feels like the kind of game that was made for VR. Anything you can think about in Hitman you can do here. While Skyrim and Fallout 4 are also great in VR. But I think Hitman gets the cake here.
20. Theif Simulator -> The ultimate Romanian experience in VR.
21. Phasmophobia / Inside the Backrooms -> You like horror? both of these game can be played either on PC or in VR. Phasmophobia is very replayable while Inside the Backrooms is not as replayable but still a good horror experience, both can be played in co-op with up to 4 players.
22. Green Hell / Sons of the Forrest -> You like survival in the woods kind of games? If you have seen the Lost series this is exactly that but in VR. Green Hell was created with VR in mind, so it has more options, but Sons of the Forrest or the previous game simply the Forest can be played in co-op with up to 4 people, they don't have to have VR.
23. Vader Immortal 1/2/3 -> A fun adventure Star Wars game. Short but fun.
24. Subnautica -> Already a great game based on water. It has VR implementation.
25. Spider-man Far From Home VR -> Spider-man and VR, do I need to say more?
