For awhile, I've played this game on both the Xbox one X and PS4 PRO and for both consoles, this game was unplayable, the bugs and lag combined just ruined this game in general... BUT, on PC, I mean the bugs and glitches are still there but it's more forgiving. It's playable and i'm not struggling on 15 frames per second while paddling in the water like the consoles. Understandably, making a big game under unity is a gamble. It's either going to work and become something brilliant or just flop and this game hits the middle of both points. On one hand, you got fully customisation options on tackle, bait and more in the shop and for users who start the game, they can buy cheaper tackle bundles which would work together but of course the trick is, you need to figure out what works and what doesn't to get those bigger catches and maybe even named trophies. On the other hand, from clipping through pegs to being able to catch fish by double clicking mouse "strike to landing net", issues like that kind of makes the game a bit unappealing. The main issue is, I don't think anything problematic we're going to witness on this game is going to be fixed . Reason for that is both lack of sales and negative reviews tainting this title. The company will just stick to their rally games and what not and are even merging with fishing planet to re-release The Fisherman - Fishing Planet all in one edition. So final view, would you like to pay £30 for this game? NO absolutely not... at least, not three times... Would you like to pay under £6? Yeah sure and you can on CDKeys which sells the steam key of this title for 85% off the value of this title.
