Early Access Review
Alright so, the game is really awesome and I must say it's ALL about the experience (speaking from a non-VR POV).
The scenery is well set, the gadgets which you interact with are all very involved in within, making you really feel like a "ghost hunter/demonologist".
The game itself has a lot of potential and I believe it's crucial to define wether it'll be more oriented towards VR or pc players (could perfectly be both tho if they keep it this simple).

The game sometimes becomes either glitchy or more of a challenge, while you're trying to know which phantom you are dealing... many times they won't manifest (i.e) book writting, or frozen temperatures or any cue that can tell you what you're really facing so you'll have to interact with them in different ways and get more "clever" to actually get some clues, it's not an 100% that every interaction that the ghost should make will happen right at the beginning and the problem is that sometimes it never actually happens so you kinda end up guessing.
The ambient noises should improve a lot, there's a constant background noise that starts once you're inside a building, but there's no tremor sounds, or "quake-like" sounds that make you actually feel that "something's not right", make it feel more paranormal. Sometimes door's will creak a little bit, but there's not window opening, there's no wind, no doors slamming and stuff that could perfectly be more present in the game to actually scare the F outta you, because so far the interactions of the ghosts leaving aside some moving objects and lights, are only sudden apparitions or the ghost killing/chasing action; instead, the ghost should be way more playful in order to "♥♥♥♥ with your brain" enough and the real materialization of the ghost should happen very few times. Players should get deaft sometimes, numbed, stunnned, slowed or stuff like that too. Also all ghosts are the spooky apparition and none of them actually differentiate "lore-wise" between a human, demon, spirit, ghoul-like, it's just something generic and if they included a small lore for each type of ghost, then they should deffinately incorporate new and diverse interactions with all ghost. They need to ♥♥♥♥ your brain as much as possible without the necessary physical interaction of the ghost with your player, the moment the person get's presented the "materialized beast" the fear spikes and then kind of goes away, if you keep most of the fear in the players imagination then this game will be a diamond in the future.

Of course we all must know this is an Early Acces game so we shouldn't be asking stuff that's way ahead of it, but they def should consider implementing new mechanics and devices in order for making the game less monotonous. My crew and I are making professional contracts and they are much more fun because the ghost interacts a lot with the characters but our mechanics as game hunters are still basically the same; there are many gadgets that their function only tells you "there's something here" but nothing more than that, makes you think that you can actually hunt all the ghosts you need with only a very few extra items.

The game could be better optimized, it's stunningly beautiful, gameplay is really awesome. Human fights though are clucky, boring actually, absurdley easy when you compare them to machines. The story is a jewel, characters too and the world a pure diamond. Loving the game, 32 hours into it, all map explored, doing main story just now.

Tbh idk how to describe my experience with GRIS, it's an amazing game, extremely relaxing, the art and music in it are stunning, there's basically no context and either way the game managed to make me feel sad and also happy without words, a must play.
