Helldivers 2 is an amazing game made by a talented team; however, forcing players to make and sign into a Sony account is going to be its downfall. Having to make an account for a service known to be targeted for data breaches is insane. Add onto that that some people can't even make accounts in their countries and it's a bad combo.

Hopefully this issue will be fixed sometime in the near-future. Until then, this negative review will stay to show Sony that they've ruined one of the best games to come out in recent years.

EDIT: As of midnight 5/6, Playstation has posted to X that they will not be moving forward with the account linking requirement.
