amazing metroidvania game, brought me back into the genre

amazing game with potential but i literally beat it in 21 minutes, great game thats worth the play

halo with portals whats not to love!

WAIT FOR A SALE! (Mixed review) lets start off by listing the games positives and these include great art style, unique bosses, extremely challenging and extremely rewarding when you beat a boss but that being said there are also some pretty big negatives with the game. The negatives makes the game far less than what it should be for the price, some of these negatives are; there is no "story" (the story is pretty much absent and the whole game is boss after boss after boss), travel distance is pretty bad expecially when you are going to die alot, the game is extremely short ( I beat it in four hours and had over two hundred deaths) . so in conclusion the game is great but not for the price, it had some extreme potential but since it is a one shot kill game there are no power ups so it makes the overworld more of a walking simulator and there is nothing in it(no coins, no powerups just nothing but the scenery) the game is great for a boss fighting simulator but if you want to buy this game WAIT FOR A SALE, it is not worth the current price.

one of the funnest games ive played, the concept is simple make your way to the end and if you die try again. The gameplay is awesome and the controls are spot on, its definetely one of those games that you base other games on to see how good they are. Overall it hits the mark and I give it a 5/5, the only complaint is that it is short if you are good enough but the replayibilty and the different charecters aswell as weapons makes this a game that ill keep coming back to for a long time!

I recieved this free from a promotion and I have to say I definetely would of payed for this game at full price. The game is funny, full of action and demons and the controls are great. The setting is nice and I found myself exploring for secrets and more cash half of the game! almost no games do this to me but the power ups, weapons and skills made me explore just because I wanted that new skill. To sum this up it was an amazing experience and a beautiful fps game that made me add "shadow warrior 2" to my must buy list, if you have a chance play this game. 8.5/10

good game for the most part, i was like many who recieved this free due to a promotion and im glad to say this game is really fun and has potential. their are some really really game breaking flaws that keep this from being a truly great game though and that is the heavy class. all of my matches so far have had heavy classes spamming left mouse and spinning in circles and they actually win almost every battle by doing this and they are ALWAYS at the top of the scoreboard, it is so game breaking that unless they nerf it this game will go right back to having very few people online. This made me so frustrated that i just couldnt play anymore. hopefully this gets fixed or ill probably change my recommendation!

It was a pretty fun game for the first two hours but the gameplay got really repetative really fast, this game is more suited for those who are really all about the story.

it has great visuals and great gameplay but other than that I feel like it had alot more potential, the rpg mechanics were pretty shallow and i didnt understand the story at all, but that said It was a fun game and worth the money.
