This was the first game I played in the Fallout Franchise. I played it when I was 10 on the Play-Station 3, and loved every nano-second of it. I left the franchise for a while. Quite a while. Got into PC gaming. Bought Fallout New Vegas. Played it 3 times through, IN A ROW. It was honestly orgasmic.

Two years later, I pick up a copy of Fallout 3 for the PC, start playing and am filled by a deep sense of dissapointment. I think HBomberguy puts it best, so I'll leave a link to his video, it's a bit lengthy but definitely worth it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLJ1gyIzg78

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate this game for bringing atention to the franchise, and for entertaining me. But it's not worth picking it up anymore.

I also hear there are some issues with later versions of Windows... so just get Fallout New Vegas.
