By far and away, the most fun I've had out of a modern RPG in a very, very long time... and that's no surprise, because it has much more in common with classic RPGs than those that have been released these past few years.

It's as if the developers took the best bits of the Baldur's Gates and Neverwinters, added a splash of Dragon Age, and finally trimmed the edges and polished the embellishments. All that, on top of the fact it seems it was designed from the ground up with a co-operative multi-player system in mind, such that the game doesn't suffer at all if you play it alone, but if another player is present, it effects every part of the game in a positive way.

There are very, very few games that I will give an unreserved recommendation for, but this is one of them, because I feel that if you've played Divinity: Original Sin and don't enjoy it, then you're probably an alien lizard wearing a human's skin, and you should be out conquering our planet not playing computer games anyway :P
