It's pretty cool! I bought the upgrade to support the devs.

Every new DLC has been free for a bit at release, and they've given away several in other ways, too. Really good development team!

I don't recommend this game, because it requires an active online connection. Always! Enough said. *mic drop*

Ok, maybe not dropping the mic, yet..

You can't have your own server; your worlds (even singleplayer!) are saved in, and loaded from their "cloud". I was lagging in my singleplayer world!!

If I'm going to play a game, I want full control of how my world is saved. I want to be able to at least play singleplayer, without the internet being required.

Enough of those logistics.

The art style is... random. Characters look out-of-place. Nothing matches. It's a block universe, with mid- to high-detail AI, tools, and backpacks.

For one simple example, just look at the 5th image in the slideshow. Yellow sand, brown enemy, extremely yellow eyes/mouth, gold sword. None of those go together. There are even more shades of yellow/brown in the trees, grass, and characters! Look at the rocky enemy's feet, and then look at the ground. It looks like someone cut an image out, and pasted it in a completely different environment. Different lighting, coloring, and completely different art style.
It's a blocky plain world, with "detailed" characters, sci-fi swords, and medium-detail enemies. Nothing matches.

Gameplay isn't very good, either.

Oh, did I mention it's Pay-To-Win? Yeah, that's a thing.

I bought a Vive so I could play this

Beat Saber is amazing!
  • Songs are fluid, and on-point!
  • Extremely responsive location feedback.
  • Visuals are a perfect balance; right between chill and hectic.
  • The ambience and background dance and change color to the beat.
  • 12 default* songs to choose from.

*There's an active modding community, which allows you to not only download 100's of custom songs, but also customize the colors, download custom sabers, download platforms/backgrounds, and even play multiplayer with your friends!

Thanks to my cousin for introducing me to this!

Played on HTC Vive
Hardly a game, but a very good story!

I love exploring caves (spelunking), so this was right up my alley! Unfortunately, I haven't been in many caves, in person.. but this felt really good!

Get it now while it's only $1.50! (Until July 5, 2018)

WARNING: It left me feeling sadder than I have ever been, before! D:

Played on the HTC Vive

I just started playing this game, and already I can tell you; it feels and looks amazing!

I see lots of upgrade paths, many options for different tackle and gear. The controls are intuitive, and the system is well optimized! There are a lot of gamemodes, too!

How would anyone NOT recommend this game? The music, menus, layout, gameplay, and everything else is perfect! The trading cards even have funny stories on them!

It feels good to be the boss inside the game, just watching from above, as the action unfolds on the floor.

Early Access Review
For the whole 2.5 hours that I had the game open, I was in the queue to battle. I never found 1 match!

It's more than worth it. And multiplayer coming out now? Absolutely!

Great progression, storyline, and overall mechanics.

If you want to farm, fish, mine, or even socialize, this is a great game for you!

Includes some great DLC!

Stones Unturned was fun! I love the military-style gameplay, and the explaination of Donovan's past.

Faster Baby is rather short, but you get to fight some really racist people. Remove them from the face of the earth! It also lets you grow weed...

The creepy Sign of the Times shouldn't be in Mafia III at all, but I can see that many people would enjoy the intense story.

These together added a lot of gameplay!

It's short, but fun. It really shows the racism of that culture, and it's fun fighting against it.
