Look, I had purchased and completed the regular version of this game when it was first released. I enjoyed it, and when DS2 was announced, I thought, 'Let me play it again from the beginning while lying down with my Steam Deck.' Turns out, I had to get the Director's Cut for Supersampling. Firstly, this approach is very unethical from a business perspective. (It seems that such unethical practices are considered normal even in the culture often praised for its ethics, like the Japanese.) Anyway, I still bought it because I wanted good performance on Steam Deck. I paid (director's cut) and downloaded it, and what do you know, now I can't set the native resolution of 1280x800. I've tried changing config files, editing hex codes in the exe file, but no matter what I do, I can't rescue this game from 720p. I'm really tired of dealing with this for the past few days, I won't be play and can't even refund now.

If you haven't had it for longer than 2 weeks, you can still get a refund with 2.2 hours. It should work
