This game at first slid under my radar, I thought it was just some basic, boring farming game a la farmville without microtransactions.

I was so, so wrong.
This is so much more, and the depth of gameplay, plus community support both in terms of expansions, and media, has skyrocketed this game into a "Must Play" category for me.
It's like Farmville and Animal Crossing had a baby and it looked suspiciously like Zelda II.

I made friends, I found love, I made money, I went on adventures.
