It's rather confusing and I believe that most players will need to search online for an explanation of the story and endings, same goes for the word deciphering mechanic. But overall it's a fine game. 7/10

The story and main mechanics are excellent and pacing is good. Not game of the year material but certainly a great playthrough for its price. The only drawbacks are the lame minigames, which could use a bit of work.

Gunplay is janky, AI either walks in a straight line or just stands still, performance is down the drain even with a 4080 super, visual artifacts everywhere, graphics look like 2015, character models look like they're from Gmod, I can go on and on.

People are currently in the honeymoon phase, with hype and love for the franchise blinding them to the blatant flaws of the game. This needs at least a year of further development to be considered as "finished"

If you like this game, that's completely fine. More power to you. But please stop lying and saying this game is GOTY material or anything remotely close to it.

Performance wise can be a bit smoother but other than that it's great

Bought it because of the positive reviews and it has been SUPER disappointing. The only good thing is visuals, the rest is garbage. Boring gameplay with no room for thinking in a DETECTIVE game and a story that makes no sense. This game is proof that reviews don't mean anything, only by playing it can you TRULY know what's going on.

Arrowhead is a Sony backed studio, they have ZERO financial issues. It is not some noble act of supporting indie devs when youre throwing them money, you're supporting corporate greed.

The story is extremely bad with zero character development, and the pace is way too fast. You went from the last of us to full on realmwalking in 30 mins. Gameplay is average, dark souls with guns is a really accurate description. Story is extremely short, it was so short that I was still using my starter gear when I beat the game in 13 hours. Probably the most overrated game I have ever seen.

Gun play is average, jokes are cringe, MC is annoying as hell, story doesn't make sense, relatively little content (Streamers can literally clear the game in one stream). The game is overhyped because of the twins, whom you only see for 5 mins in the entire game. The only positive thing I can say are the boss fights and graphics
