I was literally one of the first people ever to play this game, all those years back. When you actually had to hunt down the behemoths. I had high hopes for Dauntless.
Whoever made the decision to ruin Dauntless, I hope they understand they ruined Dauntless. For the devs, I hope y'all find decent work and don't have bosses that prey on players in the future.
To really make it clear, old dauntless would be dead because servers arent paying for themself in a year at most, something had to happen.
My personal opinion is to give the game a fair chance because it actually is pretty fun. People have reached lvl 60 already after not even 12 hours of grinding.
The cell part is something the devs are taking proper feedback on and if its actually an issue then they will be doing something.
Honestly i disagree with the monetization, its the usual pay for convenience, even the current hunt-pass weapon will become available for free. If you want to pay then you can. They arent predatory about it. People just want their weekly free stuff back.
I didnt even play Destiny 2 for years because they made shaders limited...fuck that
