Goofy little indie game. Took me 2 hours to beat. As bizarre as the graphics are, they're quite pretty at times. Very fun, very weird, short, and simple game.

Unfixable voice chat silence bug ruin's a game with already bland gameplay. The only thing that kept this game insteresting was the players, however without having a way to communicate with them this game quickly devolves into garbage.

-You can save and quit no matter where you are in the game

Unplayable. Closet cheaters get to get away with everything. No one cares anymore. The people that do care have been too focused on the bot crisis to learn how to spot the closet cheaters. This game has reached its end. The people that do play still either have too much time on their hands and are better than you or are people trying to go back to the glory days of this game, which just aren't there anymore.

The only solution I see for this game is for Valve to get rid of Casual mode and force everyone into community servers which are properly moderated. Playing casual mode is like trying to live with gangrene, sure you're technically alive but you're rotting where you stand.

I also wouldn't recommend community servers in their current state because they're just too niche and full of long time veterans. It's completely unplayable for new players. Part of the original charm of this game was that no matter what match you ended up in, there would be players better and worse than you. Now, everyone's been playing so long that there's little opportunity to learn as a new player.

When I return to the game from time to time after letting my skills rust I find that there's just no fun to be had when everyone knows exactly how to play. There's no dynamic weirdness to the combat anymore, everyone knows the maps and knows the positioning. The only time unique plays occur are when people are intentionally playing wrong for fun, and they end up getting wrecked for it. Let me reiterate: this game is so old and played out that people are resorting to playing completely wrong to try and have fun.

The real, intended gameplay of TF2 is completely worn out. Valve has done an okayish job of keeping it alive, but the writing is on the walls. I don't think it will last much longer.
