99 Defense is Crazy

Thanks for the advice honestly. We're working on our defense and movement but more than that, our frame traps, mixing up timings, and setups so our offense is actually more threatening. Breached into purple ranks for a little bit but fell back down. Just meant we're not actually at that level yet.

in terms of offense, this one is definitely subjective but learning when to be greedy for big moves is great too. i.e conditioning and exploiting it with big lauunchers or frame traps

the plateau can happen at any rank and multiple times, personally my plateau was purple on t7 only reaching fujin once and dropping, in t8 i got back into blue and plateaud for a bit, rn im at kishin and i definitely believe in blue is where you should be perfecting your defense, particularly for me it was exploiting strings that end in highs and learning when to duck, grab breaking off of reaction instead of guessing what a certain type of grab all the time, and very much so always maximizing your punishment. even bigger caveat on sidestepping the ends of strings that dont track

I have been playing this game and franchise since the very first. Only seriously since T5. I am carried by legacy knowledge but I'm still plateau'd in Blue ranks since I'm not perfect on defense or offense.
