Coming form the previous warband titles and playing those in MP only too, this will address MP players only,
I can not recommend the early Access in its current state.
Remember this is a EA review. You might check the official forums and take a look if things have changed.
I'll keep this short and quickly address the reasons why I'm not recommended it so far:

- Server crashes. Dozens of them, some days you're fine, some days you won't finish a single match.
- Balance issues. Everywhere. There are very strong and very weak factions, classes and weapons.
- Classes. You will receive money for kills and assists to buy better equipment/load outs. however, some factions are very ranged weighted. Especially a lot of cav or archers will give you a hard time, This means you will find yourself getting spawnkilled quite often or spawn right into a horde of enemies. In conclusion, you lose your hard earned equipment and being forced to run around as peasant, making things even worse and you eventually just quit.
- Combat is a lot more complicated. A lot of factors will delay your swings and blocks. It is also a lot slower compared to older M&B titles (many topics in the official forum will address them in detail). Another issue are bugged out hitboxes, you will find yourself shadow-swinging through enemies and vice versa.

To sum it up; Your skill is limited by the new combat mechanics. That alone is a reason not recommend it at its current state.

However, you might like it and are not as biased by older titles.

Connection issues (packetlosses) in every single match
Disconnects making you lose equipment in several gamemodes.
Community gets ignored, massive lack of updates, communication.
Bugged out coop mode for almost 4 months, not a single fix in time
Bugged maps and mechanics
Animation abuse by several players

tldr: you're paying for a beta.
