The Mass Effect trilogy is by far my favorite RPG series in existence, maybe even my favorite game, period. The characters you meet are all interesting and memorable, the writing is amazing, and the voice acting is perfect. It's a game series that, imo, has aged extremely well. I bought Mass Effect when it first came out for 360 back in the day, and I was hooked then. Yeah, the third game had a rocky launch when it first came out, (I was one of the schmucks that bought the day one DLC with the game for $80 only for everyone to get the DLC for free less than a month later) and the canon end to the series is by far the most upsetting thing I have ever experienced in my life as a gamer. However, there is one saving grace to fix that problem: the modding community. With mods, you can make the end of the series what it, again imo, was meant to be. With the right mods, this game once again becomes one of the most memorable, enjoyable, emotional experiences I've ever gotten from a game. There are some minor bugs that do occur, but I never ran into something that was game breaking, and never during dialog (which is the most important aspect of the game to me). Only bugs that occurred happened during the shooting and mission portions of the games.

If you like games where you can lose yourself in characters, this is 100% the game for you. Highly reccommend it, and I implore anyone reading this to suffer through the first few hours of ME1 (it's a slow start and a lot of people I know personally had a hard time getting hooked into it because of the pace) but I promise, it's worth it.
