I know most reviews is just a stance on the current state of TF2...but I want to do something different. I want to tell my TF2 story.

I joined TF2 a couple of years after its release. I've been hopping on server after server after server. The ones I come across back then were toxic and discouraging. Then I came across the 4L clan TF2 servers. Pyro was my main class I wanted to play and the people there gave me tips and changing from the backburner (back then the stat was no blowback) to the stock flamethrower. I then branched out to other classes: Scout, Engineer, Heavy, and Medic.

Being with 4L TF2 made me fall in love with the game and its community. They never tolerated sexism and made sure everyone was comfortable. I remember a couple of players I've come across and have fond memories of them.

Then...you know how it goes: life happens. People get bored of the game, drift apart to other things, etc. But the one thing about this was I left on good terms. I treasure the memories and the people I've met and the hilarious moments we had together. I hope they are all doing well.

Coming back way later, the matchmaking thing was implemented. Not knowing where to go after helped made this easy for me. The level-up medal feature kept me going...it was like a progress of how experienced I was in the game. I wanted to be better and the best I could be-even if I couldn't be a pro. During matchmaking, I see some familiar faces and some people I team up with again. Despite me coming across strangers and some usual people, sometimes I take screenshots of moments I have with them. I may not meet them personally, but "passing by" them made things enjoyable.

Then...the bot crisis happened.

I tried my best not to let it get to me, to work with team members to overcome them and even kicking them. However, it only helped us get so far.

I'm not here to tell you to fight for TF2. I am not here to tell you to give up TF2. I am here to remind others to share and treasure the memories and moments of this game: the epic turnout moments, the hilarious headshots, the biggest crit kills, and the people who inspired us. No matter what the end result will be for this game-whether it be drowned in bots or built back up to australium glory, this game has allowed me...no...everyone meet awesome people and get together and each piece being part of our lives.
