An installment of Amnesia that I would consider as solid as The Dark Descent.

The lack of human dialogue compared to previous games is a new but fresh addition.
Originally feared that the gun mechanic might invalidate the monster's threat, very happy to see it used as more of a utility than an actual weapon.

Movement feels very smooth, the animations of your hands are very well done.
The beast also feels very fleshed out and life-like.

Fuel management became the replacement to the Sanity system in previous entries.
I'm not sure which one I prefer, Sanity had the benefit of being restored during gameplay, whereas Fuel must be found/farmed.
Sanity caused me a lot more panic over Fuel however, because having a timer to know when it is about to decrease/fail is much more comforting than not. But I would understand if you think a timer would cause even greater terror seeing as it would be a point to stress out about.

The greatest issue I had in the game was my very own brain,
going as far as costing me to go fuel-less for the majority of the run and countlessly bitten by rodents
I understand, I was told that burning the bodies is the way to go. I was told numerous times.
But I forgor. :skull:

Very excited to see where custom stories will take it, keeping my hopes up for meme stories and serious ones.

(also can someone tell me why the beast does not care for them? like are they friends???? does he enslave them to dig tunnels for him??????)
