Having played both the Original Half-Life and this remaster, I can say this was a fantastic modern remake. Beating out more then half the official remasters of other franchises I've loved

(Cough, cough, Warcraft, Cough,)

You'll be very glad when you're in a room where the only noise is your own footsteps.
Get ready for a fight when any other sound is made.

One of the most impressive 2017 games created. A high bar to be sure.

A game I've beaten twice (First for the True ending, second for completion bonus) and enjoyed myself the majority of the playthroughs both times, which is a tall order considering it's a very long game.

As a sequal game to Nier Gestalt which I am only vaguely familiar with, I was not lost on what was going on.
There's a lot of fun things you can do if you want to bump off the story a bit and just have some fun, not even neccisarily side-quests.
The soundtrack is hands down, my favourite for any game that has ever been so far.
A must recommend in my book.

I'm 7 episodes in, and have been entertained well throught the run so far.
Having never played any games before hand, I can vouch for anyone else whose worried they need to be in the know that it won't be necessary, it appears to be an accurate adaptation from the beggining of the game to the end.

A lot of people make the comparison to Super Mario Sunshine, and I can easily see the simularities even before playing it.

However, this game reminded me more towards anoter Nintendo franchise, Kirby.
Both in it's puff stuff of animation, as well as bits of it's humour.

One thing I can say is, this is probably the cutest game I've ever played, and it set the standard at the very beggining with how childish the Hat Kid reacts with the environment (For example, twirling around on turn chairs)

Game play is very speedy, and something you'll need to be good with, otherwise you won't get past most of the bosses.
Hat gimmick is a nice touch to keep you constantly on the run.

Overall, this game has a lot of effort put into it, and it does well making you know that all without ever actually telling you.
Look forward to playing agian.

Having played all previous installments (To the Moon + DLC & A Birds Story) this game had me hyped on announcement. And honestly, with it a large shoe to fill.
And succeeded.
Much like To The Moon, I was on the verge of tears right before the credits hit.
While this game does get cartoony in the 3rd act, I imagine that wouldn't put too many people off, especially since having completed the game I think what happened was very necisary.

10/10, would buy the creators of this game multiple drinks.

Self-Aware and takes advantage in everyway!

I love games that remember that there games and while this does keep a story going to explain as much as possible, they know you don't completely care and shower you with over-the-top combat and focus plenty on non-sense humour.

If you're looking for something deep and/or serious, look elsewhere.
