On May 26th 2022, Facepunch modified the recoil for every gun in favor of the noobs. The recoil is now somewhat random and you cannot strafe while shooting, you have to crouch and when you get shot, your aim goes flying. This greatly reduces the skill ceiling. I believe this is a money driven move to attract a new player base of casuals. I've put several hundred of hours practicing the recoil patterns and so much more for nothing.
