I had a great time running back through the zoo after well over a decade. The stylized, zany interactions with the world coupled with various stock sound effects gave me a good chuckle at 2am

Critter Cove is a cute little game where you build up an island tourist town by scavenging underwater wrecks and inviting critters to live there with you. There's a good amount of creative potential regarding world placement of items as well.
If you enjoy Animal Crossing and Subnautica, I'm sure you'll enjoy this.

I can't keep holding out hope for this game anymore. KT left us in the dark for years (and still continue to) about the development alongside what's actually being fixed (nothing in particular). Things remain buggy, broken and unstable. The gameplay is very choppy and remains poorly optimized-- I'm talking 32GB of RAM with an RX 6800XT and Ryzen 5 5600 and still getting 40fps (but feels like 14fps because of how the game's rendering is all over the place). To add even more insult to injury, Nacon's going under from all this and is already thinking about selling off, leaving us with a half-baked cake of broken promises while they run off with your money. Just play TDU2 while we wait 13 more years for nothing else to happen, this game is toast.

while I want to say it's a good game, the actual gameplay is repetitive, the world feels empty and the soundtrack is lackluster. also the part where you don't actually own your copy of the game but yknow
