This game is decently fun with friends, but it's so severely lacking in customization that it felt like I kind of tossed my $5. Skin, hair, clothes, and features should really be individual toggles for players instead of being all bunched together. I'm hoping that a lot more of that gets added in a future patch. I'd also love a lot more furnishing, wallpaper, lighting, and flooring options... maybe even different signage for the exterior, or different "world" skins (like cities that aren't the Chicagoan default). The jank of this game is part of what makes it loveable, but right now, it seems much more suited to single player.

Short, but good. It's narratively-focused, so certain segments are railroaded towards the objective. It's less about fully exploring the location (a claustrophobic ship) and more about unpacking it bit by bit. If you aren't a fan of walking sims, it might not be your thing. It's totally mine, though. I love the story, style, and mood.

Without spoiling anything, I love the specificity of certain details and the vagueness of others. It's easy to finish not just because of the length (it's around two hours, unless you're like me and you like poking around every corner), but because it's just so engrossing. People were right when they said it's best to go in blind.

Somehow, this amazing game flew under my radar. It's fantastic.

Some people think the pace is too slow. I agree that the third act is where it starts to drag, but I like that the game asks you to really consider what you're doing with the time you have. Personally, my only complaint so far is that sometimes I click through too quickly and accidentally select an option because my mouse was hovering over it. The auto-save feature is lovely and makes the stakes higher (I can't just go back to before a bad decision), but it is a bit annoying when I make unintentional mistakes. Otherwise, this is quickly becoming one of my favorite games I've played.

I'm surprised that this isn't mentioned in a lot of reviews, but this game takes ages to play through. Several hours can go into one session, and you may end up going in circles incrementally or shuffling between spots until RNG favors you.

EDIT: At the developer's suggestion, my friends and I have found ways to shorten the gameplay and selectively pick expansions. It's still long, but not so consuming.

The new FOMO gacha stuff is really not to my liking and it sours my enjoyment of the Among Us style gameplay. A daily token limit is horrible. It's already incredibly time-consuming to grind them and just a single machine pull is pretty expensive as far as gacha goes. RNG gambling and limited loot box cosmetics... no thanks.

A few years ago, I bought this after hearing quite a bit of praise about it... and the game would crash every single time I got an achievement. Like, it would turn into a blank screen and I had to go to terminate the program in task manager. I made a post on the forums requesting support and never got any sort of reply. The problem stayed, so it's just unplayable. Great.

If the literal game-breaking bug that wouldn't allow me to progress wasn't already a deal breaker, I flat out did not enjoy the game itself. I thought the story would be really engaging, but it was SO pretentious and corny.

I don't care about the characters, who are for the most part just built on shallow aesthetics. Neat art... and that's it. Like, I could at least get to a character-focused ending before a crash, and spoiler, the store description told me basically everything I needed to know.

This is unfortunately a huge letdown and I'm sad that I bought the hype. Wish I could get a refund and forget it.
