Video Game in its purest form

This is not runescape 4. Don't let clickbait try to tell you it is. It's similar but very much its own thing.
Many are annoyed by the area based skills, but it adds a lot of variety and more opportunities for happy number go up chemicals. If you stop fighting the friction and let them cook you'll find it a lot more palatable

Not your average minigame collection. The games vary in size but the majority of them you can really sink your teeth into. 50 games of this quality is an actual legendary achievement and should be celebrated

Killed a dragon and it dropped a sofa

I always liked this game, but I was never particularly into it. Even defeating the first final boss of a run seemed like a very difficult, big ask and so my interested dwindled.

More or less 10 years later I decided to try again on a whim, and it sunk a hook right into me so deep I've been thinking about it every day since, and I'm continuing to this day.
The massive rabbit hole that I knew existed beyond one difficult boss seemed entirely unobtainable a month ago, and now I've progressed through the whole game and its DLC, with still a ton to do and unlock. I don't even know if 100% is possible in my lifetime, but I'm sure going to work towards it.

One last thing I love about this game is that if you go through the progression from the very start like I did, you get to watch as the game and story matures along with its creators. It starts off as a satire on christianity and other abrahamic religions but develops into something more interesting; an all too real tragedy of circumstance. There are sweet moments, too, making it all the more sad.
