My little Dreamativity:

They joined the council
To get the counsel
Of how to proceed
Discuss what they did
But things will go wild and wrong
The moment you'll hear the gong

I definitely would recommend the game, especially for those who like the mix of historical moments and the occult!

Want to start with the things I like:

- The story: The writing is good enough. Twists and revelations about supernatural staff, historical persons, and moments that intertwined with the main plot and the world of the game - I like it a lot. And I was glad that it's not just about some mysteries and cults that have 'real' explanations but that the story is based on occult and supernatural staff, and we face it in some way.

- The choices: at some point, the player would make a choice. There are different situations and different outcomes and consequences. Some of them are not significant while others are big enough. Though, don't expect something that will turn upside down the whole playthrough. It will differ, but not so much.

- The music helps to feel the atmosphere, the design of the locations, and the characters. It all helps a lot to feel the mystery around and some romantic feeling in the air as well as the historical period of time.

- Gameplay: I like that it's not just an adventure quest but with many interactions, many collectibles, and things to explore, find, and read. There is a progression system, and you can choose what you will be specializing in to help unveil the secrets of the story and the game. It will affect the way you will do it, and I like that there are more than talks in the first place. The game offers several puzzles, and they are awesome and interesting!

Now, want to point out some weak moments of the game:

- First, the audio bug: when the dialogue ends there is some sound and then the other dialogue starts like the audio tracks are interrupted by something and don't properly connect or else. It was really irritating, and I found several topics about it, but no solution.

- I understand that it was the idea of the one island and one location and that some rooms (or else) open later with the new chapters. But... The previous locations not changing much (if changing at all) and there are not many of the new places to see. I would like to have at least two big main locations if you want to follow such an idea, to see something different and not to walk around all the same place.

- The ending and the last chapter. It's not bad, but it feels rushed with too little explanation. It breaks the pace of the previous storytelling and there are too many secrets left till the last moment and the answers that were given are not enough. And it's not only about answers for me, but the finale is too short and not exciting. We face, without spoilers, let's say 'IT' and... The end. I was a bit disappointed and didn't have a proper feeling of satisfaction at the end of the journey.

However, I like the game, and it's one of my favorites, despite some negative impressions and moments. A good and interesting story and with enough gameplay and features behind it.

My little Dreamativity:

I was dying
I saw the light
Started crying
Then got the bite
No more whining
It's time to fight... AND EAT!

For me, it's one of those overhyped games that have 1-2 features made good or awesome, while failed with all others, or, if not failed, just something mediocre and not deserving so much attention.

Wanna start with the positive sides. So, what I like about this game:

Visuals and optimization. The game is beautiful, and the characters and environment and zombies, etc - all look amazing! And the game is well optimized in my opinion, I've played on my previous notebook and was surprised and astonished that I didn't have any problems while watching such a picture and visuals!

Parkour elements. It's awesome to jump and run through the city and roofs, and it's breathtaking to do it in the second zone with high buildings and skyscrapers! I could feel some freedom, choice, something cool in the air! But sometimes parkour doesn't work well, due to bugs or else, but it's not so terrible and doesn't ruin the general feeling from the feature.

- Co-op. It's made cool! We played the whole game together with my soulmate, and I'm grateful for it, it was an awesome experience without any negative aspects.

That's it. I don't like any other element of the game.

- Story - it's horrible and boring and dumb. Especially the ending, which also takes away all the parkour freedom feeling, because, suddenly, devs decided that you must go the only way they see, and parkour will be used only as a simple run and jump and slide on rails + unnecessary deaths of some characters. The characters... They are dull, and I didn't have any sympathy or else. The game is not about a story, someone will tell. Then don't place it here and don't make the game open some features, enemy types, and zones based on the main story progression. It's not an excuse that 'the game is not about it'.

- Zombies. They are.. Not special at best. Some of them really boring and there are not many types of them. People are enemies - just typical and boring too. The game doesn't offer some uniqueness, so I could say 'Awesome, didn't have such experience before'.

- Progression. There are perks you can unlock. And at the beginning, it felt like an important feature, while in the end... It's meaningless and pointless. The same about the craft. The same about the looting. The weapons. When you get further at the story and whole progression, all of these will not have almost any impact on the gameplay except for some types of weapons only. Even the high-tier perks. It's so uninspiring.

- Quests. They are not exciting and not interesting, mostly. There are a few of them that left a positive impression, but not much. Also, you could go for challenges: race, for example. They are not bad, just not something cool either. They are here. That's it.

The DLCs, and the expansion.. I didn't like it. We even hadn't finished the expansion - car driving is bad and farming to progress further... Why? I wanted to see the story and this time it was the only element that held me in, the cult plot, but to farm reputation with the same activities that I already saw so many times? No, I can spend my time with something much better.

In the end, the only thing that makes this project the game I've finished - parkour. The only good association if I don't want to go to tell how many things are unlogical and flawless and here just to be here. If not my soulmate, I would drop it at a very early stage. Making one feature the base of the game while not giving anything rewarding the exploration... To enjoy the parkour itself - sure, it's cool, as I said. For several hours. After that, it's just run and jump, and it doesn't have so many options and elements to keep me doing it again and again and again. You will do the same nonetheless with the same moves and basics. I hope they will fix the progression and the story and the world feeling with the DL2.

My little Dreamativity:

Can you control
Your inner troll?
Or your dark soul
Will rage and growl?

You should Control
Your inner troll
To reign them all
Not be a doll!

For me, the game is amazing!

It's crazy and unusual at almost every step!

The story is good! I don't want to put any spoilers about the plot, so, let's just say some things: it is based on paranatural, and the Bureau that overwatches such things. You are playing Jesse, the female protagonist, who is trying to figure it out and find her missing brother.
The lore is... CRAZYYYYYY, as would say Crazy Dave from PvZ. There are many collectibles that show you deeper into the world of Control (and Alan Wake) and I read/watched/listened to them with a huge interest with a thought of 'I hope to dive even deeper, give me more of it'. Those collectibles really help to understand what's going on, what's FBC's main goal, the characters and just to feel this crazy atmosphere and surroundings, like it's real-real! The story shows different departures and main characters, and it's written very well, doing it consistently with some interesting twists and methods to show it. However, I'm not too much into the ending. I felt it was kinda empty and rushed after all the previous chapters and actions, story.

Besides the Main Quest, there are side quests. You could ignore them, though they give you an opportunity to upgrade your powers even more. They are interesting, some of them have boss fights and interesting mechanics and puzzles, they also make you more connected to the Control's world and lore.

Talking about collectibles: you can find different skins for Jesse there or here, some of them are not hard to find, others are hidden behind some secrets.

There are different progression systems: weapons, mods, and powers. I didn't craft modes (you get the resources as well as mods from enemies and boxes, secret places), just used the dropped. I was mainly to upgrade and craft all weapons and I like the variety a lot. The same for powers, though I expected more of them and something more unique. Wasn't frustrated or upset though, they are cool and impactful.

The music, the design, the destructible surroundings (not everything, you can't destroy the building itself, though some walls are destructible too and devs hide collectibles or interesting stuff behind them) - everything is so well-made and astonishing!

Played both expansions and I would recommend checking them as well. Again, I will not spoil anything here, but AW is an awesome one! It gives a new perspective on the game (AW) and connects both projects to one point. If you played AW games before then you will meet familiar mechanics ;)
The second one, The Foundation, - had such potential from the idea, so that is why I was disappointed that it didn't cover any deep interesting role. It's a nice ending for the whole Control game, it has cool new powers and mechanics and lore, but... Not so exciting.

What I didn't like:
- the 10% drop on the death of the main resource that you need to craft and upgrade weapons/mods.
- the woman's acting behind Jesse. It's not too horrible but not good either and from time to time it feels dull and one-faced. She really needs to take some classes if she will be a part of the new game in this universe.
- the contracts. They give mods as rewards. And they nice addition for someone, but... Not a good option to make the world alive. The same I think about bounty hunting.
- an annoying bug with the wending machine achievement. And the achievement itself was an awful idea, especially when you just drop this bug without fixing anything.
- As mentioned above but will repeat it again: not exciting second expansion as well as the ending of the main game.
- expeditions... The idea is cool. But this timer and with only 25 minutes... 30 minutes would be nice middle air. But 25 minutes with the spawn of the enemies right on your head - a bad game design in my opinion. You can skip it, sure, but you can skip the game as well with such logic ;D

Anyway, all in all, I like the game a lot. A LOT! It made my life feels kinda boring and even more repetitive :D I definitely want more games in the same universe and to see the same crazy atmosphere and staff there. The game is really non-standard and eccentric lore and world-wise.

I'm your dragon
You - my commander
Let's blow this wagon
With our role-play thunder

I want to start by saying that I don't like the Steam review system for many reasons and one of them is that you can either recommend the game or not, there is only 'light and dark' and no gray zone. So, if I could, I would write a review about this game, putting it exactly in this gray zone. But, yet, I don't have such an option, so I decided that the game has some cool ideas and positive moments that mean to me more than a negative side of it.

It's a nice addition to the Divinity universe in my opinion. I like the 'story' side. Let's call it this way. The main plot is simple and there is nothing special about it. But... The communication between you and your advisers and generals + decisions about the future of your kingdom... It's awesome, fun, and cool! You can be a tyrant, a conservator or some liberator, a progressive ruler, to help save nature or to side with tycoons, etc. These events are randomly generated, and you can choose your way, though keep in mind that the people of the kingdom will react to it in different ways, as well as your advisers and generals, and it will open even more dialogues and interactions. And these are the main game and interesting points for me.

All of these are going on at your personal ship. And here you can also get some improvements. I like how it's done as well. You can upgrade your army or the dragon form, or go for kingdom general improvements. All in all, I like it, it's interesting, and it's good to have several progression systems!

All that I described above made me like the game and even have a thought to re-play it in the future to try different options.

What I didn't like? The strategy part. The game consists of several chapters, and each chapter has its own map. They are small. And the kingdom building is middle air. Not bad, not good. Nothing you couldn't see if you played global strategies, moreover, it's simplified and cut. The same about the battles. They are boring and unbalanced. It's easier to upgrade your dragon form and focus on winning the game with it than doing it using your army as well. And the visual... The ship part looks great and beautiful, while the battle part's visual is terrible to my taste.

So, I recommend the game to see those interactions and try to be the ruler you want. And I do not recommend it in any way to play as strategy, main point. It's a dull and poor game from this point of view.

It's a wise decision
To hide your orIgin
When you are followed in
By some assassin

I really like this game. I didn't play the AC series for a long time before this, and this vision of the AC universe is very fresh for me and more inspiring. Furthermore, I like RPG games. I like progression, choices, etc. And AC: Origins leads the path of such elements in the AC games. Odyssey is a better version for me but still, Origins is an amazing game, and it laid an excellent foundation for the new generation of games.

The story is good. It's dramatic, has cool turns, smooth, and looks wholesome! I like the DLCs both the story and the new mechanics vise. Wanna mention it here without details.

The game has a skills tree and progression system. I like it as the first step in this direction. Skills are nice and cool, though Odyssey skills are more interesting in my opinion.

You have armor to upgrade. There is still no loot system, yet you have the feeling that you can follow your story progression with both your skills and gear.

The locations are gorgeous, but I'm not much into the sand *_* But the game is beautiful nevertheless. You can meet historical persons, as in all AC games, and it's interesting to see them and some events in an AC vision.

There are Boss fights. Story bosses have different tactics and mechanics and are made cool! Also, you can fight some mythical creatures and those fights are awesome as well!

I played it long ago and could miss something but.. I remember the feeling that I liked the new AC direction. Not only that, but I like AC RPG. I like this map which was interesting to explore for me (100% completion). It's different. Someone may say that it's not AC anymore and there are no real assassins. Whatever. For me, it's just a new step and a new vision, and it expands AC lore and the universe!

I'm the captain of my life
I want to explore it, take a deep dive
Such an adventure is usually not easy
Making the captain and the team busy
Forge your spirit
It has no limit
It should be awesome
When your life will blossom

It's a short story about a family trying to get through some problems. This story exists in the LiS universe, and you can meet the characters in one of the episodes of LiS 2. It's nice that SE decided to promote LiS 2 with this free chapter.

It's good, in my opinion. Furthermore, it will help to understand better these characters later in LiS 2 as well as the vicinity where the story takes place. I like the boy, Chris, and his wonderful imagination that helps him to feel less lonely and prevail over the obstacles and problems that are going on in his real life. And the way Dontnod shows it is well done indeed. I recommend it to those who want to get more information about LiS universe and especially LiS 2, but also for those who want to play some nice story.

The great Odyssey we joined
So awesome, we'd enjoyed
We didn't follow the creed
Who the f*ck does it need
Doing under the breeze Shaka Laka
Ahoy, envy and watch us, Malaka!

One of my favorite games! Like both, Odyssey and Origins, but Odyssey is a much better version of Origins for me! One of those games that I went to full completion (map and quests).

I like Ancient Greece, and its Mythology a lot! And here you can meet it in the base game and even more in the second DLC about Atlantis. There are many famous historical persons from those times and not only from Ancient Greece. I will not spoil anything, so you can see it yourself.

I like the combat and skills - action-action plus you have 4 active skills for a melee weapon and 4 active skills for a bow. There are plenty of melee weapons you can choose from. The items (armor, weapons) have different visuals and stats + you can find sets of armor that will give even more benefits. I like that Odyssey has a loot system that you can find and get from the enemies. All items are upgradeable. Also, there is a transmog system - you can put an item visual on any other of the same category. The skills tree has many interesting features to offer, both active and passive, and you can upgrade them. You can upgrade your ship with materials that are easily obtainable in the open world or as rewards. Didn't have any problems with it or with leveling - I was always several levels above the recommended and required level of the main quest. You have a mount here, and you can obtain different skins for it as well.

There are plenty of quests. I almost didn't do quests from the boards - they are randomly generated just to have XP and currencies. But I did all the quests with the story. And they can be hilarious, dramatic, exciting, and interesting. The same feeling I have about the main quest.

The game feels repetitive at some point. But you will not find the big forts or locations the same. Even small fortifications are at least slightly different. I like the world and exploring it, and this climate (though islands could differ drastically) is more to my taste than the one in the Origin. The world is beautiful and big, and you can visit some iconic places!

I like the bounty system when hunters go for your head, and you can kill them or make them one of your lieutenants on the ship. Also, you can progress at this bounty system as well and eventually become number one.

I completed the game long ago and maybe forgot something to say, but all in all - the game is cool and will give many hours to play even without a full completionist run. Though, as I say, it will feel repetitive at some point, so take it into consideration before trying the game!

The project Hellsign
Abandoned and dying
Of lies it's a fort
It shouldn't be bought

Lali-ho!

First, I wanna say that the base game's ideas and gameplay are awesome or good! It's very atmospheric and unusual! We played it a lot together via Family Share on my soulmate's PC.
The hero is fighting paranatural entities. The combat system is hard and cool. There is some story, though it's unfinished, that is not bad though not something extraordinary. The game has different progression systems. The gadgets that help you find the clues, and it's playing..ahm.. Played like a detective. All in all - the basement of the game is enjoyable and nice. It was, at least, and one of the factors that made it that way was changed.

I'm talking about the gadget system. It was simplified for whatever reason, and it's very uninspiring, boring, and clunky. The game had lost this detective feeling after the changes. What was the point of changing something that worked well and was accepted as an awesome feature by so many people? Dunno.

But my main reasons for making this review negative are the devs, false promises, and infinite EA. I bought the game on the launch day and supported devs here on Steam and on Social Media where I could. There was a roadmap and promises about upcoming content and some vague timelines. And here we go, 2 years later - dropped roadmap, 1 new zone, the changed gadget system to the worse, bug fixes and blogs about blogs, announcements about announcements, etc.

In the first several months after the EA launch, devs at least tried to keep to their initial promises and roadmap, talking about the future.
Then they went silent and rarely published some blogs about how hard to develop the game with a small team and that their plans changed because... Because they expected something different. Like what? You sold the product and expected it to be finished by some miracle or garden gnome or whatever? It's obvious that the game is just some pet project for the 2 men who have no plans to finish it. And last year's communication proved that a lot. Now they are typical offended poor indie devs that have so many difficulties and that everyone around should do something with it except them. Wolcen devs and the game, just in smaller proportions though much worse since it's not finished and will not be ever.

Plan ahead what you will do in case of good sales, bad sales, unexpected difficulties, new content, etc. Take responsibility for your project and actions! And not shift it to the customers that already supported you. Hire more people, find a publisher or sponsor. Do something! But you are just writing these blah-blah posts and comments and making the game with the amazing foundation worse and worse. Pathetic.

UPDATE: 'Devs' announced that they are planning to release the game later in 2021 at the same state, only fixing bugs and adding some QoL. AVOID this game and such devs. They are liars and nothing more.

UPDATE 2: The game was launched without any promotion, so it will sell badly again. No PR, nothing. But they made all those players who criticize them are 'bad guys and gals' with the help of some pathetic YouTubers. Also, the game had around 28% negative reviews. It was considered as bombing by Steam and then, suddenly, ahead before the release it jumped to 70% with so many defenders coming from nowhere and, yet again, mainly focusing on mocking those who don't want to tolerate this ♥♥♥♥. And the same people are now active on the game forums. It's just the worst experience and the case I ever had with the games.

They launched Liesburg
And called it Darksburg
It's obviously Failsburg
And Letsmoneygrabsburg

I won't recommend the game and the devs after the experience I had with both.

We (my mate and me) bought the game the same day it was available at the store, at the launch of EA. We gave feedback and supported the game and the devs both on Steam and on social media. But.. No more.

The gameplay is very nice. WASD movement, 4 active skills + auto-attack. Reminds me of Master X Master in some way. The visuals, design, and the universe are cool and nice, and you have this authentic feeling while running those biomes and locations. Heroes to play (both survivors and zombies) were fun and played differently. Why were? Because we don't like the changes for several heroes that were implemented with 1.0 - the mechanics were simplified and not so inspiring and fun now (for example, you just smash the 3rd skill playing Runolf instead of charging it or not). Yes, heroes were in need of balancing and changes for some abilities. Like skills that were made not so good in the first place (archer woman ult, as an example). Instead, they simplified the skills that were engaging and made gameplay active and not so boring (yes, for me charging the skill is more active like gameplay since you don't just spam on cd all your buttons).

We like old modes - fast sessions, and you could rotate maps for the mode where you need to run through zombies to the final tasks and destination, so it wasn't, all the same, all the time. The PvP mode just needed some balance changes, but it was super fun and unusual. And the last one - a defense mode vs waves of enemies. But now these modes are under the Legacy tab which should be put on at Settings overwise you just don't see it. Many people don't even know about this and those modes, as a result, modes are not popular and people don't play them - it's hard to find people for them since the Play button leads to the only mode that devs focused on now - Roguelike one.

This mode was added later based on some mythical feedback (dunno from where, while people often ask about old modes and PvP or suggest the ideas that are, lol, already in-game - old modes or PvP) and just combines the maps of the first mode I described with the same EVERYTHING - biomes, enemies, tasks at the final destination for each of the biome, and the final boss of the run. Devs added a progression system to it though - curiosity system - collect currency to unlock some benefits, though they are not inspiring to farm them and change almost nothing. Also, you now level up during the session and have perks to upgrade your heroes' abilities. And yet... They are boring as well and change almost nothing (the most common one - more charges for a skill). Artifacts - boring and nothing changes. These systems they added and spend resources don't make the game less repetitive and more interesting, they're just not inspiring, not effective... And all of these could be implemented for old modes. Also, now it takes an average of 50 minutes to complete one session that is almost IDENTICAL to each previous or the next run. Those randomly generated 'turns' on the maps or chests' location - oh my, what a variation for gameplay. Who needs random events, different enemies per zone, traps, or else? No no, but turns and chests locations!

Ah, yes, they also added affixes...+100% of all types of damage for the players with the most HP - oh my it changes so much, right, while you run the same maps, the same enemies, the same tasks? Or this one - double elites - woooow. It would be cool for short session modes indeed, especially for the defense one - a small area to fight the waves of enemies, and you have more elites or more income damage - at least it will add some fun for sure. But on a 50-minute run, it just makes it even longer and more boring since all other things are the same? What a nice future to have.

The devs gave us a roadmap back at the EA launch. In the end, they just added one new survivor and one new type of enemy from it. It was dropped. More zombies-heroes, more survivals, more maps, and biomes (one was added though like all the others - the main difference is just the look and nothing more) for modes, new modes (roguelike new mode, aye-aye, but the same, but new), more types of enemies and new features atop of that - no, who needs it, let's drop the core game, let's drop promises and who cares that people bought the game cause of the core gameplay, and we didn't say a word that this roadmap was just blah-blah to sell the product - drop it all and put the roguelike mode that plays identical EACH run.

To the complaints about the online during EA (it was around 30-40 players at peak), they gave the answer that they were satisfied with that while at EA. That customers were not satisfied with that because it's a multiplayer game - but why, who cares? It's just such nonsense - they were satisfied, and it was their plan all along. To say it at the EA launch day, so people would know that there will be no PR or else? Noo, the devs were satisfied.

And the same boring answers about no content - randomly generated (chests and turns) maps and 4 biomes
(visual difference only). They added 1 biome, 1 type of enemy, and one survivor in those 7 months. Yes, they added artifacts (4 or 5), perks (though some of them are cut off from previous heroes' progression with passives or skills themselves), a curiosity system, and affixes. In 7 months. Almost no playable content to make the runs at least a bit different.

Also, promised PR to sustain the player base - some streamers for the launch day and a couple of days after it and a 50% discount. That's it. And the moment they announced 1.0 back in September on Twitter they promised more 'news'. They posted just several terrible gifs and the first time they talked was the day of the 1.0 launch. It's just ridiculous. And it's understandable though - it's such a shame to advertise the product as 1.0 without any significant changes or content drops. Also, I would take it as a reward for beta-testing if they add the content they promised and more. But no, they didn't, and they even didn't properly say 'thanks' to those who bought the game in the first place, not even single skin or else for it.

Added Northguard after the first impression of the devs and the Darksburg, but I will not buy anything from them anymore.

To join Killsquad
Demanding blood
You need to kill
To pay the bill
With targets blood..
You've joined Killsquad!

When I first time saw this game, it reminded me of the Master X Master (MxM) project from NC Soft that was closed. I tried to find anything similar, at least one aspect-wise (PvE or PvP). So. I was excited to find Killsquad and immediately added it to my wishlist. WASD movement, skills, action-based gameplay, interesting bosses with cool mechanics akin to MMORPG as FFXiV, for example - that is what I marked for myself from the trailer. To add to that I marked the points from the store page: a rich universe and heroes' customization, so I expected some lore, skills customizations, and skins. Didn't see any info about progression, but I thought that the game would have some sort of it since the devs already wrote this 'Then, on each level up, you get an opportunity to customize your character with new skills to adapt to your play style.'

But, when I first watched a stream on the store page, I caught myself with the thought that the game looked empty and too repetitive even if we talk about session-based projects. But, my love for MxM and my desire to find something similar convinced me to try the game, since I always could ask for a refund.

So, what the game can offer in my opinion:

UPDATE (After the Core update):

* Good visuals and nice animations. Killsquad looks good. The first several times, it's cool to watch all those skills' animations or enemies' actions. POSITIVE UPDATE - almost the same, some features were added - cool and nice, but not well optimized.

* Combat and gameplay - I liked it a lot. The feeling from MxM indeed. Fast action is where you need to watch your steps, use coordination, and see patterns in boss mechanics. POSITIVE UPDATE - The same as was before if we talk about the basic gameplay. Different tasks are cool as well - defend or escort. But I want to see more of such tasks. More such contracts, while there are most of them, are just to kill, and yet we're killing creeps all the way at any contract anyway.

* I want to say a good word about UI as well. It's simple, comfortable to use, and stylish at the same time. POSITIVE UPDATE - The same.

* Enemies and tactics: it's interesting to fight. There are cool tactics, especially on bosses, or those chaotic 'environment hazards' such as lasers.. Really cool! Move, move, attack, and move again :D It's not boring when you are in this process. Good action, but not much variety. I counted 22 unique archetypes of mobs in the bestiary. There are more than 22 different creatures but there are just some small variations such as 'Space Worm', 'Toxic Space Worm', and 'Fire Space Worm' (not names from the game just an example). UPDATE - I deleted the writings that are not actual anymore. There is still some problem with variety, but it's not as it was before since mobs are feeling different with unique attacks, aoe, etc. The Bosses are awesomely made! Wanna see more of them. The playthrough is hard for me and my soulmate, and we like it a lot! POSITIVE (Up from mixed)

* Progression system. The game offers Vector - the progression well-known as ilvl. And it's used just to get contracts of a higher and more difficult tier. Account heroes' progressions were added with some rewards. Also, factions with levels and rewards as well. It's much better now, though not enough rewards in my opinion. MIXED (Up from negative)
UPDATE - I rewrote this almost entirely since new features were added and the old ones were changed.

* Customization. You can upgrade skills while you are on a mission. Perks on 2,4,8 and 10 levels and ult to choose from 2 on 6 levels. Similar to Hots or Dota system with ults and talents trees. However, it resets once you complete the contract. So, you need to level up every contract, and you can choose different perks depending on that. I don't have any problems with that, honestly. I wrote above about heroes and account leveling. You can open avatars, badges, and skins. There are not many skins right now and part of them are just re-skin, but, again, much better than it was before. In December, new skins and customization features were promised. Will see about that. MIXED (Up from negative) UPDATE - I rewrote this almost entirely since new features were added and old ones were changed.

* Areas are nice and biomes are different and unique. But, as it was with enemies, it's too repetitive. MIXED - UPDATE - They changed the system and now zones are not randomly generated but have pre-made maps from the same Biomes as before. I like it more than it was before. Though I would prefer more biomes and zones.

* 'A rich universe' - Some lore was added, quests, new descriptions. Not much and only for the novice contracts. The writing isn't good and not to my taste. But at least there is a feeling of some purpose now. MIXED (Up from negative) UPDATE - I rewrote this almost entirely since new features were added and old ones were changed.

* Killsquad doesn't have any hub. Just a lobby like Dota or LoL or else. It's not that bad I think but not good for me as well. MxM had a nice hub where people could look at each other and communicate, buy some gear, etc. This game is different, yes. So, I expected something similar to the Helldivers bridge - a hub for you and your teammates. MIXED UPDATE - The same.

* Loot. I don't have problems with what I have while on contracts - some mats, and currencies. I didn't expect it akin to arpg that everyone talking about because for me, it was obvious that it's not that type of game. POSITIVE (Up from mixed) UPDATE - There is more variety with the weapons and additional gear. Also, they added consumables with different effects. Weapons now have elemental perks. It's fun, but I want to see different effects, not just elemental damage. Or a better description. But I like it now. Plus, talismans should be added in the December update.

* Heroes - 2 ranged and 2 melees. I would say that there is no Mage type. Tank with a hammer, melee DD with a sword, Support with a gun, and dual-pistol range DD. Nothing special. But I liked the skills and the talents tree options. But... The skill and perks system is not deep and kinda dull. MIXED UPDATE - The same. Need more heroes. One new hero in 3 years (should be added the next fall) - it's kinda poor.

* Sound - you know, I almost didn't mention it. And, when we're talking about music, it's a not good song for me. I don't mind heroes' voices from the VA library since they almost don't talk. But I like a good soundtrack while fighting and doing missions. MIXED UPDATE - The December update will contain a new soundtrack. Will see. Nothing new for now.

* Technical moments. The game does not have good optimization. And some bugs. For example, you can't see your after-run statistics almost every time. MIXED UPDATE - I rewrote this entirely.
