A stuttery game(not unplayable) with constant crashes. Very fun.

Reasons to let my self get impaled by a necromorph:
-Isaac looks like Adam Sandler, and they decided to have him talk.
-Nicole looks like a necromorph
-Voice actors are worse
-Necromorphs look a bit play doughy take forever to aggro and sprint towards you.
-Gore system is basic
-Race swapping for some reason. Such a pointless change, of all the things devs could
change, they do this. Doesnt ruin the game but shows where their priorities are and it shows.
-Voice acting is worse in some parts

-Hard difficulty is not hard. Do the necros move faster? Do they get new attacks? Is there less ammo? Do they dodge? Nope, all it does is make enemies slightly tankier and you squishier, very innovative stuff. This should've been the obvious thing to update.
-$70 for a game that had most of its work finished 15 years ago. Should be $40 tops.

The good changes are some minor story changes and a new power mechanic.
It's a good game, but a lazy remake.

A remake is supposed to be more than just making the graphics pretty, any monkey can boot up Unreal Engine and make it look nice in current year. Its just too soon for a remake, so theres only so much they can change, plus EA was probably playing it safe. This is only maybe worth paying full price if you havent played the original. Get this on EA play for $15.
RIP Visceral.

You played an hour. None of this dribble is worth listening to.
