💭2013 DEFENSE OF THE ANCIENTS
I just started to play dota 2 and after first dota it was super comfortable and funny to play, every level of your profile you get free random items, it was fun to exchange things to put together a complete set for your favorite hero, I saw 3 times when someone got arcana (once guy in my party). People weren’t that toxic cuz nobody worried about MMR. We played events in which you could also have fun and get items sometimes very expensive and it’s all was free. Everything depends on your skill and reaction.

💭2015 DEFENSE OF MONEY?
the update “reborn”
First what they did they removed all the fun events like Diretide.
Now everyone can see your MMR and ppl started to be very toxic cuz they think that they are better only cuz their number is “ greater”.
Now you can buy all items and sets for heroes and you don’t get free item every lvl. When people began to worry about their numbers, the Smurfs appeared. It’s not a fun game anymore cuz people care only about money (buy acc with better mmr/items/sets).
During this period I was hacked and all things were stolen (it was exactly on my birthday) because people began to care only about money (Steam support gave me back everything in half of year). Dota 2 reborn started to be just half of true Dota so this game was half dead to me.

💭2019 LEAGUE OF ANCIENTS?
The new update just killed Dota for me
I have nothing against new heroes cuz it’s always fun and they must be replenished for a change. But gameplay just died. Now everything depends only how lucky you are, you can have no skill but get some broken items from creeps and so much exp cuz your team captured these obscure objects which stand instead of side shops (I don’t even want to know the name of this. ) ppl dying for get this stupid objects instead of playing the actual game. All skills reworked, all carries and supports are in the jungle from min 5. Free wards and gold for deward is cool, but 5 extremely slow couriers is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, no one cares about courier now so they dying every minute. nothing was left of a real Dota that made me nostalgic for Warcraft and Dota Allstars. Gg
