Monument Valley 2 succeeds at providing more levels in the Monument Valley style. Similar to the panoramic edition of the first game, the PC port of this seems really good, and while not entirely free from mobile-esque inputs, the controls and menus feel natural enough for the platform. There's not quite as much content as the panoramic edition of the first game, as there's only 15 total levels in the sequel, including the bonus level, and while I feel like this one didn't make as effective a use of the backgrounds for larger screens, I do think it succeeded in telling a more coherent story, still in a minimalist style. I wouldn't recommend it over the first game, but if you played and enjoyed the first game, I'd recommend this one, especially if you can pick it up at a discount.
