FTL became an instant classic. It's a simple yet hard to master strategy game where you control the functions and crew of a ship. You progress across a simple map trying to balance survival, risk and reward. If you are a fan on simple strategy games with a lot of repeatability then I recommend FTL. You are sure to get hooked :)

Good game with no players. Matchmaking always pairs you with bots.

If you're looking to fully immerse yourself in a world of Sci-Fi, conspiracy, cyberpunk, and politics... and if you enjoy first-person immersive sims, then Deus Ex is the game for you.

Deus Ex stands as the quintessential immersive sim, despite its appearance, it remains one of the greatest games of all time.

One of its standout features is its gritty atmosphere, accompanied by timeless music that enhances the immersive experience. Set in a not-so-distant future where all the conspiracy theories you've heard of are real, the game's setting is still believable and well-executed. From campy to philosophical, the dialogue and characters add a lot of depth to the experience. It is fully voiced.

Gameplay is excellent, with movement reminiscent of classic titles like Half-Life, Quake, and Unreal. You'll traverse the globe under the cover of night, progressing through a seemingly linear set of levels. However, each level is open-ended, allowing you to approach objectives and hidden tasks in a variety of ways. Whether through combat, environmental puzzles, semi-destructible environments, lockpicking, hacking, or other means, problem-solving is diverse and respects your freedom. No invisible walls. No invisible characters. Failed an objective? The game accounts for that. Additionally, each level is intricately designed, filled with secrets waiting to be discovered. The branching storyline offers a wealth of choices that impact how events unfold.

The only drawbacks I'd mention are that some controls may require remapping to suit modern gamers' preferences. Additionally, the first level can be a bit of a slow start, but giving the game a chance will undoubtedly lead to rewarding experiences.
