Very strong potential, really enjoyed car physics, idk why others aren't happy with it, i guess to each their own

720 degree steering wheel rotation is a very nice touch, did not expect this game to check in this pet peeve of mine)

Performance varies sometimes depending on the area and TimeOfDay, still can be fixed by adding TSR, disabling shadows on alpha-based materials and such, maybe even going to UE5 for nanite if possible

Game does have that TDU vibes that even new TDU SC doesn't

Good potential, nice open world, very interesting economy system
However there are issues, for now, don't know which ones are to be fixed, and which are considered "features" but
- Gearbox tuning is very barebones, in addition of not being able to change it from automatic to manual and vice versa which is kinda hindering car's performance, like not being able to adjust gear ratios
- AI racers have wayy too much mass compared to the player, which i understand why is there, but it sometimes makes them just push you out of the way when they are trying to dodge something, meanwhile you can't do the same to them
- cockpit camera is pretty much just fixed in place and can't even turn around, pretty much looking somewhere upward
- camera constantly recentering itself is annoying when i'm trying to look around in 3rd person, having to fight the camera all the way
- FOV settings are present, but the numbers aren't set in degrees, so idk how much FOV i'm setting up, and game still changes it back and forth
- having only 1 car available in the prologue quickly makes game boring, considering the fact that other cats technically available in the game (with need of minor asset reference fixes, which a mod did)

and btw (mostly speculation) but the fact that steam version suddenly moved from Unity Mono to IL2CPP killing existing mods seem deliberate considering kickstarter goals and early patreon updates before steam, which on itself deserve this review to change to negative, but only time will tell if this is true

if EAC would disrupt the game and potentially my OS stability that's a red flag right there, all that so people won't "hack" themselves VRC+ for free (spoiler alert, they still do)
and now they implemented microtransactions basically, 10/10 move, slow clap
