Darktide probably contains the most hate I've ever experienced in any video game, the specials are so hilarious and infuriating at the same time. I can barely survive the most harrowing butt clenching fight of my life, and then I experience a Bigfoot sighting as a bomber roaches by in the distance with perfect comedic timing.

Post crafting update the game is as good as its ever been, there is some pretty apparent outliers in terms of game play balance but so many weapons are viable now and its really fun to try different builds. The moment to moment game play is some of the best and most fun I've experienced, and its been the main reason I've kept coming back. The modding community has carved out a nice niche adding most quality of life features you could want.

The only real drawback that I would point out currently is that there is no solo mode, and the bots are egregiously crap. Solid recommend with friends, randoms are a mixed bag but as you go up in difficulty the general player base gets better to the point where lower difficulties can be harder due to a bad team.
