I don't know why I've removed my previous review but I'm gonna re-review it. And frankly it got worse.

TL;DR: "Constantly updated" is false advertising and Valve doesn't care about the game, the community and yours truly.

2024 Edit: Just because I dislike this game, doesn't mean I support your stupid SaveTF2, FixTF2 or WhateverTF2 movements. Valve won't listen to you or they would write "k" on their twitter, drop another community cosmetic case and go back to hibernation for another 10 years while you throw a massive party like it's the ending to Return of the Jedi, all while bots are still running rampart. You hate the game because Valve is indifferent towards the bots and cheaters, I hate the game because it's a shell of former self and the community is awful. If YOU think we're the same, you're just proving my point that TF2 game community is awful. Maybe you should consider the GettingSomeBitchesTF2 and GoOutsideTF2 instead.

That blurb about Team Fortress 2 being "Constantly updated with new game modes, maps, equipment and, most importantly, hats?" Yeah that is a friggin' lie. It's been SIX YEARS since the release of Jungle Inferno update, which was released year after the worst update "Meet Your Match". This update also held a contest for a class-specific update for Pyro or Heavy, where the winner will get buffs and reworks in next year's update and the loser will get their patch later. The second patch have never arrived to this day.

Not to mention this game is plagued by bots of all kinds but I can't relate to this because I've been playing on custom servers long before I quit TF2 and making maps for this game. Hoping for this game to get better or even a proper follow-up is a lost cause. Don't get me started on this February 9th post where they announced that they will make "a major content update" and then they backpedaled and changed to "holiday-sized update", which is just workshop content update with extra maps and skins as if TF2 wasn't bloated enough with garbage no one cares about. People can download maps from workshop or third party sites like Gamebanana and this is a thing I'd prefer to do.

The only positive I can say is that the game is free (I had this game since Orange Box so I couldn't care less) and some servers are fun (I'm gonna miss TF2Ware), but that's not saying much when negatives outweights the positives. Only download this for Garry's Mod assets and leave the game alone.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS GAME THROUGH IN-GAME PURCHASES.
