Whereas this game's fanbase is a cancer, this is still an excellent ghame. Try not to listen to the people calling it overrated garbage. The small but vocal amount of people calling the the game overrated were told by others that it was the best game ever made, and when it did not meet those expectations, they justifiably thought it was overrated. This may be the best game ever to many, but not all. No matter what however, calling the game simply 'bad' instead of 'not perfect' or 'not my thing' would be an outright lie. Gameplay is tight and very creative, playing into the plot perfectly. I will not reveal any spoilers about this game since it is best to go in completely blind. If you are even somewhat interested in the genre or intrigued by the screenshots, buy this game. You will not regret it.

Excellent game: clearly had lots of love and time poured into the production. Though I would recommend buying the edition with the season pass bundled in since the DLC is amazing.

I love Dark Souls, dont get me wrong. But when the mouse doesn't control the camera in a third person action game, you know you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Playing with a controller and DSfix is the only thing that saves this port from being a completely worthless.

OK. I have a decent amount of hours in this game through every single aspect. Do I recomend it as a package? NO. Do i recommend it as a zombie arcade game? ONLY WHEN ON SALE. Do i recommend it for the campaign or multiplayer? ♥♥♥♥ NOOOOOOOOOO. I won't even bother talking about the mediocre campaign and will say only this about the zombies: Don't buy Treyarch's stupid maps, and instead use the wonderful and free steam community made ones. Please. Moving to the multiplayer, I will start by saying that there is really no new game modes or standout maps (to me). There are just some 'remastered' and refreshed gamemodes and mpas with slight deviations from their original blueprint. Moving to the exo-suits, they do not belong in this game. They completely feel like an afterthought pushed by Activision to make another futuristic COD game. The maps are not designed for the exo suit at all; it shows when people can ♥♥♥♥ up the spawns within 30 seconds of their spawn (for most maps). There is also a problem of getting shot in the back. You see, people can now traverse terrain in the map previously unaccessible, and fast. This leads to lots of people getting to the side of the map your team spawns in and shooting people in the back or spawnkilling. Extremely frustrating stuff. Next, this game has some of the most unbalanced and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gunplay of any COD game. You will notice that (if you have experience from other COD games) either every weapon (some far more than others) is overpowerd, or the max health has been tuned town. You die so quickly it's unbeleivable. I have counted and most guns from every category take 3-4 upper body shots to kill another player at max health. This makes firefights extremely quick and makes getting shot in the back a huge problem since there is no time to react. It is also quite frustrating at times when you can't maintain a life and keep getting cut down before you have a chance to kill some more. Meaning: this game encourages a more try-hard and toxic playstyle than any other COD game. It encourages people to use the most annoyng ♥♥♥♥ like camping or headglitching making every match a toxic rage fest (for me at least). Moving to the weapons, they're fine. Nothing special or standout, just fine. Though there are one or two OP weapons such as the Brecci shotgun (it has ridiculous range, damage, and ammo capacity). The most annoying weapons to me however were the melee dedicated weapons (which can only be earned through supply drops for the most part). This is because the normal melee doesn't insta-kill like it did in previous CODs when enemies are at max health. But melee dedicated weapons do insta-kill. Which is fine. But there is a slide mechanic in the game in which a really quick slide can be performed while melee'ing at the same time. This can feel extremely cheap in many fights as there is pretty much nothing you can do but not miss and keep your distance. There are also specialists which give you special weapons or abilites that charge over the course of a match, but they rarely change the game or add anything significant at all to the core gunplay. The final nail on this game's coffin however is the cancerous supply drop system. This system is Activisions avirice at its best. Supply drops in COD BlOps 3 used to only give cosmetic items that really didnt matter at all. Even then they were toxic to the game since legendary items were so rare and supply drops took so long to earn. Paid suppy drops got added in very soon after release and this is when Activision and Treyarch really started to show their greed. Cosmetic only earnings were tossed aside for new melee weapons (they were just reskins of the melee knife though) and entirely new guns fro almost every type. Of course they were pretty impossible to earn through grinding and would take centuries to earn, so most people would just buy supply drops if they wanted these new weapons--which lead to more toxicity in multiplayer. Now whenever someone who wanted to try a new weapon, but couldn't earn or buy it themselves, will go out of their way to search for and use these weapons off of dead players (creating a weird capture the flag amongst competing players). This game genuinly frustrates and pains me to play (in multiplayer) and every time I come back to see if I can get into it, I leave angrily remembering why I hate this game--despite my hours played in multiplayer and rank. In conclusion, don't EVER buy this game for the cancerous multiplayer or singleplayer and DO NOT buy the season pass. This is an above average multiplayer shooter marred with horrible and greedy design choices. Plus, the devs don't give a damn about the game anyways. This game was only about the money it could rake in from brand recognition from the start. I am in no way a hater of this franchise, and was really looking foward to seeing some changes or fresh ideas. I was heavily dissapointed. *I am sorry in advance for any spelling or gramatical issues though my critque

CS:GO Review
This game is simply not for me (I prefer faster pace FPS games), but as the monstrously large community may prove, the game is extremely popular for a reason. It is rather satsyfying to start off terrible, then over time learn spray pattertns and actually gain real skill.
