The origin of games like mordhau, this is more fun though, especially with mods, you can get settings way beyond the medieval, like feudalist japan, lord of the rings, star wars, 1860's america, even a post-apocalypse. If it's too old and janky for you, try seeing its mods first

When I first got STALKER COP, I wanted to refund it. It wasn't because I was nitpicky about the dated graphics and stiff controls, but because I just didn't have any fun. There was barely anything to do, and the world just felt empty. So I tried following the story, and sure it still had my past complaints, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was it fun. You will never find such a hardcore experience in other open-world shooters, not even in games that claim to be STALKER's spiritual successor. And then I started modding, afterall, STALKER isn't STALKER without the mods. As of the time of writing this review, my Steam Profile says I've only spent 15 hours on the game. But realistically, I've lost hundreds of hours playing Call Of Chernobyl (its best mod, look it up). And from there, it was smooth sailing. Well... no. It was tear-jerking, and difficult sailing... in a fun way. It's no Dark Souls, not at all. The difference between this game and that is far and beyond. STALKER is STALKER, and not any other game. And with its wonderful (and seemingly undying) fanbase, STALKER becomes a game that you MUST play at least once in your life. Don't miss out.

This game is so pretty yet violent and fun as hell. It looks good even though it was released 6 years ago, and even if my computer's graphics settings are pretty low. There are tiny bugs, and it does crash from time to time, but will you really let little things like that stop you from blowing some pirate's head off with a Shotgun?

The series comes back with another punch in the face and a new cast of survivors. I will admit, the first two episodes felt like they had no direction. This both helped and degraded the narrative. Once you hit the third episode, you start feeling a solid story. Once again, it is emotionally driven, but not as driven as the first game. Why? Because you're playing as Clementine. As Lee in the first game, you always had to think of Clementine, as she served as the memory of life before the whole outbreak. Now, as Celemtine, you always had to think about preserving Lee's teachings, which is the same as preserving the old time's memories and morale. If there's one thing I love about this sequel, it's the deep question that it imposes. "Will you stay loyal to those you love, to the point where you would blind yourself for them?"

It may be 6 years old, but it never aged. I may have seen spoilers and already knew who was going to die, but I was still shocked and surprised. I may have set out to play as a good character, but it showed me that no one can truly be good. An amazing story that I could only dream of writing. Play this game and remember to keep that hair short.

The game did a great job at portraying the Cold War. I'd say even better than any war game. The horrible displays of death, and the bite of the freezing cold. A desolate yet beautiful game, scattered about by war.

Extremely fun. Though it may get repetitive, the replay value is off the charts. Definitely should give this game a shot, and give each zombie in the game a shot -in the head.

update: Please keep updating this game, it deserves to keep living with such a passionate fanbase. <3
