Alright, we're back in business! Gameservers.com has seemed to have corrected the connection issues fortunately. We had a little skirmish on the server today and aside from some player ping (which I think was their end, locationwise, not the server) everything went fine! We won't know how well it fairs until we get a better stress test on it though.

Here's a list of what I got done:

- I reinstated the admins
- Enabled admin end of round immunity
- Set up the AFK Manager
(Hopefully it should be working properly now; if not, let me know!),
- Added MGE Arena mode back in for those of you who wish to battle it out arena style
- I now have it to where medics can see the player they're healings ammo
- !robot is available for fun :)
- Made it to where admins can ban someone even if they try to disconnect from the server
- Bans/Mutes/Gags/Etc also persist after map and round changes

I also added a couple of little fun things, but I'll consider that a surprise! ;D

I do have some bad news though, I wasn't able to add HLStatsX:CE or GameME since both options require money for a subscription, or money for a dedicated server. GameME sounds a bit more sensible since it only costs $5, a dedicated server for HLStats however would start at $100.

I say GameME is probably the better option if we ever decide to go that route.

Other than that, we should be all set! Hopefully we can get some bodies in the server sometime soon and work on that Quickplay rating! See you guys in the server! :D

Sup guys! I just wanted to throw an announcement out there to try and motivate some interest in the server! We can't start climbing in the Quickplay queue without bodies in slots, so although I know it can be a bit slow, it's never going to get better if we don't make an active effort to make use of it!

I'm also in the midst of installing other things that people might want, one specific thing is stat recorders like HLStatsX:CE or GameME, but I need opinions!

If you have any other ideas of things I should install please let me know! Although I'm trying not to overload the server with too much junk, we've been having enough connection issues as is :/ (Gameservers.com is currently having issues with LA servers, hopefully they'll solve them soon..)

I'm willing to implement just about anything, but I'm still new to managing/installing on a server so I'm trying to do crowd-control so I don't cause the server to self-destruct as well, haha.

Alright guys, I've finished the complete reinstall of the server! It's pretty basic thus far, and I think it's best to stick that way until we start getting a decently steady flow of people coming in. That means no specially enabled features or maps until things start picking up, but once we have a following though then its free roam from there!

Here are the things currently installed/enabled:

- AFK Manager (Everything is set to 180, shouldn't pounce on you)
- Rock the Vote (rtv)
- Sourcemod Anti-Cheat (Vanilla install - No additional modules)
- Stalemate
- !votemenu


I believe that's about it. I wanted to wait on the HLStats install for a bit just to see if we can get new blood with minimal issues. The server has been giving random problems and we even had the voicecomms completely keel on us which prompted the server wipe.

Gameservers is currently having connection issues in our area, so lag and issues like this may persist until it's finally fixed, I'll try to keep you guys up to date.

Otherwise, let me know if you have any ideas for different installs or maybe a name change and I'll adjust things accordingly. :)

Also, I know you guys like having the previous stats from Skial, but we really need to start using this server, otherwise what was the point of getting it? I think once I implement HLStats it may co-mingle with your previous stats since Skial uses the same system (HLStatsX: CE). Hopefully this is true!
