Wargame Strategy Tournament!

The Tournament has arrived. And with it we present a new era of warfare for Wargame.
Gaming is not just about playing the game, its about sharing an experience.

The WG-Strategy Team belive that to make a game truly a full on 100% experience. You have to give something back, we think its a 50/50 deal. The game gives half, and then you bring the rest.

What is this?
What we aim for is a tournament based on teamwork, communication and fun. All built into a structured and exciting campaign map, that give the battles a strategic meaning.

The players who choose to join will be split into two teams, both fighting it out over the scandinavian countries. Following the tradition of the games, the teams will be NATO and PACT.

Each team will take turn defending and attacking the regions of North Europe. As a commander of a battalion we need you to choose a side and fight for supremacy over these lands.

Cold war?
Do you smell that, it smells burnt doesnt it?
Thats right, the cold war went hot. And to ensure this alternate universe stays intact we need a group of dedicated and skilled individuals to make it happen. If you are interested, we have alot of work that needs to be done.

Here is an explanation of what we are looking for.

Administrator
An administrator is tasked with adding or removing players from teams based on signups and the Commanders orders. He will need to familiarize himself with the workings of teamspeak 3, and the xenforo website software we use. Along with a healthy dose of patience and organizational skill.

Administrators will not be permitted to participate in battles. But will make decisions together for the tournament as a whole.

The main requierments are:
- Ability to learn
- Eagerness to serve the community
- Any kind of skill

Contributor
A contributor will mostly participate in the strategic discussions ahead of the tournaments beginning, aswell as ensure there is an inherent contact with the community throughout the campaign.
Anything from providing opinions on how to organize the teams, to helping out new players who sign up get sorted in their teams. Anything they can contribute with, is appreciated.

Contributors will have access to the same admin forums as the Administrators, but can also participate in the battles. They will be a key part of the admin team, and as such is required to balance their loyalty to their team and the tournament as a whole.

Requirements:
- Mature
- Able to help out new players
- Any kind of skill

Moderators
The moderators are there to ensure the forum is not filled with the rage of the internet.
They are there to encourage sportsmanship behavior and correct language and prudence on the forum. Each team will be assigned 1 or 2 dedicated moderators regardless of their team rank. Along with senior team members and commandstaff ensure that their team is behaving well.

Moderators will have a separate forum dedicated to the coordination of sportsmanship and tracking of any misbehaving players.

Requirements:
- Able to express themselves well in text.
- Active on the forum.
- Any kind of skill

The Wargame Strategy Team
As a team, we can fill each others roles and holes. Just because you are skilled at one thing, doesn't mean you cant move outside your job. We want to keep things flexible and at the same time ensure a focus on the task at hand.

We have found that giving everyone the ability to voice in and share their opinion is far more effective than locking people down to certain roles and ranks.
