I know this group has essentially been dead for over a year. Well, I think it's time for it to rise again, just like the enemy in the game that brought us together in the first place.

I am recreating a new Left 4 Dead 2 server, and I will make it this group's dedicated Steam Group server. For now, I will run it from a virtual server off of my desktop. I will leave it running once I get home from work. If we find that we're using it frequently and it's working well, I'll look into moving it to a third-party hosting site. I will try and have it running two servers at the same time: one with add-ons enabled that can CHANGE the gameplay (might buff the Infected, things like that), and one with add-ons enabled WITHOUT gameplay changing effects (stat-tracking, the Counter-Strike weapon mod, etc.) Hopefully this will create a friendly server for campaigns with mods, and a fair server for VS matches.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on things you may want in the server (a certain mod, maps) and I will try to accomodate your request.

Additionally, I will post a list of the third party maps that will be on the server from the start. Please understand there will probably be some wrinkles to work out during the restart process, but I hope to have this working in a week or two.
