Having completed Dark Souls: Remastered in April of 2020, I jumped straight into a full play-through of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (in support of SpecialEffect) which I completed in July 2020. Seemingly, I completely forgot to promote it here; I've been slacking, I know!

I am currently making my way through (what will hopefully be) a full play-through of Dark Souls: Remastered in support of SpecialEffect.

Episodes will be going live on my YouTube channel (please Like and Subscribe!) on Tuesday March 17th 2020 (to coincide with my one year anniversary! ) starting from 07:00 GMT, and releasing on the hour every hour thereafter until they're up to date with my current progress. Each episode will be approximately 1hr long each.

I don't have a set schedule for playing/posting, but I will be doing so as often as I'm able to until I (hopefully, patience/skill depending!) complete the game.

I've never played any of the "Soulsborne" games before, except for around an hour or two of Bloodborne that I got coerced into trying by my husband, though I have watched him play through them here-and-there as they're some of his favourite games. Expect the death count to be *high* (as of this posting it's currently at 25 -if I've been counting correctly- and I've played for around 6hrs)!

Today, 17th September, is the six month anniversary of Vixzen.me.uk going live!

It all started back on the 17th March 2019, and since then there have been streams galore on Twitch, and also later on Mixer and YouTube thanks to Restream.io!

As well as live streams, there are now numerous pre-recorded full game play-throughs available on YouTube for Black Mesa (Half-Life 1), Half-Life 2 (incl. Episodes 1 & 2), The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, and DOOM (2016). Bastion , and Divinity: Original Sin 2 (Definitive Edition) are still a work in progress!

I have V-(for Vixzen)-Log's that go live every week on YouTube (typically each Monday when I get the time), as well as regular updates on my Facebook and Instagram pages with regards to what I've been playing recently, or what my next play-through will be, etc.

I have started a play-through of Supergiant Games' Bastion, which is one of my all-time favourite games. It has a stunning art style, phenomenal soundtrack, and outstanding game-play narration.

For this play-through I will be supporting the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The RNLI are the charity that saves lives at sea. Since their foundation in 1824, brave lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 140,000 lives. 95% of the RNLI's total income comes from donations. Every day of every year, people of all backgrounds get into danger in the water.

I have started a play-through of DOOM (2016) on the "Too Young To Die" difficulty (mainly so I don't embarrass myself playing through the "Hurt Me Plenty" difficulty which I got around 5hrs into a little while ago!).

For this play-through I will be supporting Mind, a mental health charity. It is estimated that 1 in 4 people suffering from mental health problems, and 25% of those people each year will not get the support that they need. That needs to change.

The original DOOM came out in 1993, followed by DOOM 2 in 1994, and DOOM 3 in 2004. The sequel to DOOM (2016), DOOM Eternal, is due out in November 2019 - I'm very excited!
