The US Army Wolves are an elite spec ops unit specializing in complex missions deemed impossible by others. The Wolves were originally activated in high secrecy by the Department of Defense (DoD), and put under the command of the Special Operations Command (SOCOM), specifically, the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). A soldier operating as an Army Wolf must have passed brutal testing in the air, sea, and land. This testing is an elevated versions of the Navy Seal testing, and several years in a different spec ops unit:

Alpha Platoon is one of three platoons of US Army Wolves, and the soldiers that make it up are the toughest, best trained, and most lethal. Squadron 7's Fire team A consists of highly trained operatives that make up the top of Squadron 7. The 4 soldiers of Fire Team A are arguably the most elite, lethal, and skilled operatives in the world. The US Army Wolves, and especially Fire team A, focus on counter terrorism, hostage rescue, and the elimination of the highest value targets. The US Wolves are a made of tightly knit units, which come together into a pack of fierce, cunning soldiers. WOLVES HUNT TOGETHER.
