9/11 Memorial Day

Im asking all of you to take a moment tommarow and think about the 10 years since the World Changing attacks on 9/11, that killed 2996 United States Civilians, about 200 being born elsewhere in the world. That day, I was to young to remember much of the day itself, but now I realize what happened. And ever since that day, I promised myself I would never let anything like that happen again. It doesn't matter if you like the United States or not, but please, there is a difference between Combatents and Civilians, and that day, the United States of America cryed herself to sleep. I personally don't want this to happen anywhere ever again. Thank you all for your commitment to the U.S.A and God Bless the victims of that Fateful day, you will never be forgotten. *Salute* - Killgore

D-Day Memorial

On the dawn of June 6th, 1944, today, 30,000 American, British, and Canadian men/women/and other servicemen went ashore at Omaha, Utah, Gold, Juno, and Sword beachs on the coast of Nazi Fortified Normandy, France. The 3 divisions of paratroopers that dropped in ahaid of the main beachs, on the night of June 5th, still encountered in fierce fighting. Over 3000 men died on that fateful day just during the beach landing itself. Many more were to come as the allied armies fought to recapture Normandy, and the rest of France. I ask that everyone take some time to honor the heroes that gave their lives on this death filled day. Without their sacrafice, Nazi occupied Europe would of never been re-opened. Thank you all very much. To the men and women who died on June 6th, you will never be forgoten.
