For those looking for basic information about our group let me try to explain.
A while ago I joined a private community, unnamed and fluid at the time, and after a while we decided to try becoming semi-public as the "Ubiquitous Gaming Community".

That worked acceptably, but it didn't result in a massive interest, which we needed in order to properly host our tournaments. "Ubiquitous Competitive Gaming" is a natural outgrowth of that idea. Instead of just having a single community centered around a few key individuals, we have created a way (through the technology of ubi.gg) for many linked communities to be created and used in way that is continually flexible and renewable.

This steam group is for anyone who is a member of any of the communities in our family. It provides chat as a key functionality, which may be done easier over Steam than our site (since you can chat directly to the Steam overlay). If we move to support more games outside of Steam (right now it's only League of Legends), we may revisit our official stance on the chat system.

It also mirrors some of our site-sponsored free events. Make sure to remember: not all events are listed here, and the ubi.gg website is authoritative!
