A middleman is just an easy way to ensure against scams. Middlemen are usually used in trades involving paypal, however can also be used in spy-crabbing and other forms of betting. Scam Awareness Program

Here at Tip Top Trading Tips, it is our main goal to prevent new members of the TF2 trading community from getting scammed. We will hold many discussions and announcements featuring ways to detect a scam and also just a list of names of scammers that people have come across. Also, we plan on outlining different ways you may have your account hijacked, giving examples of how a "phisher" will try to get your account details and what to look for in chat to identify if someone is attempting to hijack your account via sending misleading links and much more. There will also be areas where you can post different ways people have or have attempted to scam you so people aren't fooled in the future.
