The person who spammed everyone with a message to send your information was a scammer named Mitchell trying to steal your accounts. If your really wants to they will contact you threw email and ask for a verification of your account.

Speaking of scammers, watch out for someone named Risto and Rogers, Rogers, Ristov- or something like that. He scammed me of my money and he lied to me about an acct he was trading for. Never do business with him because he is not trusted!!

If someone messages you and asks you for your account name password and email dont do it! They are trying to scam you! If STEAM feels the need to contact you, they have the power to find out your email and email you personally!
