A DotA 2 in-house league for all skill levels

Goals

The point is to create higher quality matches with a bit less pressure and focus on individual performance, and more on teamplay, having fun, and learning, while still trying our best and taking the game seriously. These should be matches where our friends that are newer to the game, haven't played in a long-ass time, or just don't want to deal with douchebag pubsters, can learn and enjoy the glorious game that is DotA 2. If we feel like it, we can try some quirky modes (Pudge Wars!), but we'll mostly be playing the actual game.

Zero-douche policy

Invite anyone you want that has an interest - more warm bodies are important, especially as we're starting out. Just make sure they know it's not cool to rage or belittle other teammates. DotA 2 is, of course, an intense game, and there will undoubtedly be times where we get frustrated with each other, but there's no room for unrelenting ♥♥♥♥♥.

Planning

To succeed we'll need to find specific times to get together and make this work for most people. For many of us, that's evenings-only and we span at least 3 time zones, so we're looking at 730PM EST as the earliest starting time.

If we end up with awkward numbers of people, we might be able to fill in the gaps with bots (we'd set them to max skill level to avoid making them too much a liability). We'll have to figure out the best solution over time.
