In the opening decades of the 18th Century, the Fractured Isles are becoming home to several feuding nations.

In the isle of Avigia, a continental struggle that had engulfed much of the continent has finally been resolved. With it, the Catervan Republic, victorious dominates the continent. The Avig Empire, the last relic of a united continent has toppled, being split into several different nations. It seems the dream of a united continent is slipping away.

In the isle of Aurelia, the continent has reached an era of peace and prosperity never before seen. Yet, cracks within the Aurelian Mutual Defense Pact (AMDP) has already begun to show. Several nations have already begun to challenge the alliance, and it seems conflict may spring up. Will the unity hold, or will the continent descend into war and anarchy?
